it's not usually the needle itself that hurts. Especially a dentist needle. It's so sharp it's ridiculous. It's actually the fluid being pushed into your gums that causes the pain. The sudden instant pressure and the skin having to stretch some.
I've got tons of tattoos and I still hate needles, lol.
Glad you're feeling better MB2. Remember when you kick that guy in the nuts, tell you wanted to beat his ass, but you're on call so the nut kicking is faster!

LOL! That guy was such a prick. Luckily, he's not my normal neurologist. My real doctor is a really nice guy.
I don't know how you folks get tattoos. Lordy, does it look painful. Here in the army, most of the infantry gets tattoos--it's part of the job, almost. My husband is one of the few who hasn't done it. I considered it last year but decided I couldn't find anything I could live with and just because it looks so damn painful.

Even though I'm borderline Trypanophobic, I still want a tatoo of a fortune cookie on my ankle that has the fortune sticking out with a quote I haven't decided on as of yet.
Is it true that tatoos on boney areas of the body hurt more?

I'm a LOT better. Thanks for asking. I'm just taking the medication for the symptoms-as soon as that really kicks in I should be gravy. I'm finally able to focus on things that matter, like my family and my business.
Good to hear! I hope your family is helping while you get to feeling even more better!
