I don't even know where to begin. Sunsurge is a work of art.
First off, he feels like an actual TT Masterpiece. He nails the aesthetic. His transformation (while tricky and involved) is F'ING BRILLIANT, and he is solid as a rock in both modes (really awesome locking tabs). He poses like a dream. Face sculpt is terrific. And his bonus pieces (Chip especially) are friggin kickass.

He looks great in pics, but even those don't do him justice. In hand he has exceeded ALL my expectations, which is saying a lot since I've been hyping him up in my head for two weeks.

Pretty much the only negative I can think of is his transformation cheat. I fully believe there was no other way to achieve his proper animation silhouette without it, but as others have said it's not befitting of an MP. But how much do I care about that you ask? I CAN"T HEAR YOU OVER HIS AWESOMENESS.

I pre-ordered Sentinel Blaze. I'm not sure what I'll call him, though; the Badcube name is kind of "meh," and there was never an official name, so I'm thinking I'll make one up. Either way, I'm feeling a "Diaclone/obscure TF-only" urge now with MPs, so eventually I'll get a Tigertrack and display him together with Blaze and people will be like, "Whaaaat?!"



(... Actually, they won't. Nobody I know in real life is as big a TF fan as I am.)

The side-by-side is great, now I wanna get Spinout! I love my Sunsurge, kinda scary transformation but I made a guide to avoid breaking yours, check it out if you buy Sunsurge. It's such a great 3rd party figure, I highly recommend it.

Yes, my friend said I should join up here as well. I'm holding my breath for a police version. I've got a diaclone red sunstreaker, but I think that's the most common diaclone out there.

I think these model kits might be more common that I think, but it took me a span of 8 years to get both "Patrol Car Type" and the red LP500S.

If BadCube does not release it, there's always the chance that Omnigonix will release that deco on their figure.

Whenver TakaraTomy decides to release a Sunstreaker, it should be a lock that they (or someone like e-Hobby) will release the police deco. Keep hope alive, friend!

You'd find it easier to free the doors if you got the tail light panel out of the way. That gives you more room to pull the arms out of the way.

Got my Sunstreaker this weekend and he's awesome! Fiddly transformation aside, he really looks good with my Ark crew MPS and adds some much-needed yellow to break up all the red and gray that dominate the shelf. Chip's right leg just will not stay on to the point where I think it's intented. The instructions where basically useless in the torso to the point where I thought I was messing it up until it was suddenly pretty much done.

I can say the same as well, My Chip lost his leg before I even began to pose him. Not bad for a freebie though, I bought it for Sunsurge and Chip was a nice bonus. I've seen Chip sold by himself on ebay for some decent coin if you wanna put him up for adoption. I'm keeping mine, when I bust out my Sunstreaker, Soundwave and Ravage there's gonna be some "Excellent Ravage!"

Oh yeah, as a freebie he's awesome (broken leg or not). I just pop it back on and toss him in the chair, no fuss no muss. I'm actually inspired to buy more human peeps
