I want to make sure that my guess is correct. Did Barricade survive the final battle because(if im wrong) you dont see him fighting annyone else but bumblebee, and the last you see of Barricade is before bonecrusher starts to tramsform. So help me out here.

I have assumed Barricade escaped.

no barricade infact died like the rest of the decepticons, leaving scorpinox presumed dead/wounded badly and star scream well alive, from what ive herd, right after the scene in wich mikaela says to sam shes glad she hopped in the car sam is seen running and a half transformed barricade is being tackled by ironhide in order to save sam, knowing ironhide, barricade probably had a large hole blown through his torso with that death machine he calls a gun. barricade also dies in the comic movie adaption, i believe his death was cut out due to time and or rating

Some have stated that it is a general police sedan and in fact not barricade.

Guess we'll have to wait for the DVD to come out with the deleted scenes in order to know for sure. We know Screamer survived. Scorponok probably survived, but he'll probably get caught and/or destroyed by the next movie. And while I'd like to hope he survived, I'd have to see the scene where they're dumping the bodies into the ocean to know if Barricade died or not.

Why would Ironhide tackle a regular police car?

yes closure upon a second viewing ironhide and ratchet tell sam to haul ass and they will cover him then the street fight begins you see in the background barricade and ironhide shoots some big ammo most likely ventilating barry!!!!! then starscream flys down to street and opens up guns on ratchet and ironhide who seeing might meg say fall back!! Now this is gumbled to my adrenaline from a second viewing but im almost positive you see in a distance ironhide jumping army rolling and shooting barricades direction???

It was flying through the air when ironhide was running with sam, so tackle the car so it doesnt land on little human.

This was from another thread on the same thing

(1) Wrong model of car; it's a sedan not a sports car.
(2) The top of the car is clearly visible; there are no emergency lights.
(3) There is no "tackle" as you put it. Ironhide slap catches the car and then drives it into the ground.
(4) You can clearly see Blackout pick the car up and throw it.
(5) the wheel debris does not match Barricade.

no ya don't, i looked today when i saw, one of the few things i really wanted to look for

I don't know, I only saw Megatron's and Blackout's parts being dumped...

Hopefully they strike that from being cannon. I loved Barricade, and would love to see him return.

I didn't particularly see Barricade's parts on the carrier in the finale. I did see Blackout's and Megatron is clearly seen being dumped. But Barricade is definately missing.

I think it was scripted that he bites it, but his death scene might have been cut. In the comic adaptation, Prime took him out. Could work into the sequel...
