According to this source: http://marketsaw.blogspot.com/2010/06/r ... n-and.html Michael Bay is actually shooting in native 3D and he is pretty happy with it.

"I was told it was going to slow us down… it didn’t slow (Michael) Bay down. Bay is moving like lightning. Once he realized, “Oh, Jesus… there’s no difference, really. Except I’m adding dimension.”

Hope this is true.

YAY! Optimus cutting people's heads off in 3-D now! Im glad Bay can keep his fast paced scenes!

LOL, truly the best quote from Bay I've heard in a while....ha ha ha

We're just adding dimension, ha ha, thats just funny. Like saying, oh hey, this wont slow down those big explosions, we're just adding "Physics"

Ahhhhh, what gets me is all the B1@(#-ing he did about how this was going to take away all our american jobs and this and that.....and he didn't even try the bloody camera out? Really? I mean, what test did they do that gave Bay this negative impression? Was there even a test, was he going by just hear-say?

Eh whatever, at least 3-D purist (I'm sure this term applies to someone out there) should be happy about this, and the quality should be better though I've yet to notice any true difference between True 3-D and Post Conversion 3-D save for those obvious shots where things fly towards you just for the sake of the gimmick. I'll be expecting alot of those, gears, oil, fireballs, random Victoria Secret Cleavage, the whole 9 yards.
