Well I received my G1 Reissue of Soundwave and my "Variable Cyberbot" G1 Jetfire Knock-Off, and while the first was awesome, the second came with a broken canopy and flash-suppressor on his gun, not to mention that the figure's back won't lock into place, but I didn't complain about that because that just seemed to be a really lame KO problem.
Anyway, I wondered what BBTS would do... $13 KO, $9 to ship it, were they going to say "ship it back to us"? or, even stranger, pay for me to ship it back to them?
No, they gave me store credit. Neat.
So whoever here warned me (after the fact, unfortunately) that that particular KO was bad, THEY STINK! Don't get one! But BBTS handled the problem better than most small online companies.
Just FYI stuff. I always feel compelled to review stores.

Ah, yes. I posted some YouTube videos of him as well. Order Soundwave! He's awesome!
A bit pricey when you intend to play with him, but hey...
I have a childhood favorite again, and since Classics Voyager edition Optimus Prime fills my OP need (sans trailer), I'm fairly set. Everyone else can be "whoever I can grab."

I found Soundwave at Frank and Son collectible show for $45.00. Is it a good price? No tax, too. If so I will pick him up, tomorrow.

Obsidian Prime: That's what I paid for him at BBTS.com.
Someone here told me his original price was $30, but I couldn't find that anywhere on the 'net.
Lanzajr, thank you

Yes, ToysRus originally released this Soundwave as an exclusive item. Once I found out, (months too late!) I looked everywhere for him! Fortunately I was lucky enough to find one brand new on Ebay for $40 including shipping.
Interestingly from what I found there were a few different releases of the box.
1. ToysRus Exclusive version which made it to stores
2. ToysRus Exclusive version with backwards packaging (you see the back of soundwave). Don't know if TRU sold these.
3. Import version - same box and 1 and 2, but without the "Toys R Us Exclusive" sticker on it.
Looks like you have version 3. I got version 2. The toy and box is exactly the same as far as I know though.

And that's coming from... well...
BBTS is pretty cool about that kinda stuff though. They even sent me an email warning me of box and toy conditions when I purchased a non mint BT figure one time.

I am a new member here, and this is my first post. David, even though I AM a newbie here, may I say that I think what you are doing with your children is one of the coolest things I've ever seen!
It is an inspiration to me, as I have 4 boys who love TFs, and I think we'll give your RP-ing idea a try.
Just wanted to thank you for a great idea to make great memories with my kids.
