Hey guys,

Has this been out for awhile? And if so, how likely is it to be at stores? Is it a hard set to find?

Oh this makes me happy. I thought thoughs new ones that look like robotic styal beasts but their original robot modes (the ones that were sold in the Cybertron toy line) were going to be the only Primal and Megarex sold.

I'm verry glad to find out the original toys are comming out again because mine are missing parts and these reissues look more like the cartoon models with the new paint jobs and Primal's lack of a mouth plate.

It has been out as a two-pack for $35-$40 US, but impossible to find now, as the movie toys are starting to flood the shelves.

Best bet is get it online, HLJ seem to like pasting it in the baner directly above this forum.

Whatever. BW never did it for me. But, the Monkey Prime was designed very well, I will say that.

But make mine all robot please. lol

The two TRUs in my area still have a dozen of them between them but the box is different. The one in the picture you linked is the Japanese one.

MY local TRU has millions of these still, and have yet to cut the price. They have obviously stopped selling well, so damn, put them on clearance!

I saw this set on BBTS and it fetches $60

Well i went and bought one for 60 on Ebay. I havnt seen them in my stores or TRU here either.. so might as well get it while i can! Pretty much the only BW stuffI have, other then UNiverse Primal I got for 10$ !

Bah. I don't think I've seen them at all to be honest, for the past months, walmart, toys'r'us, etc. Perhaps my toys'r'us is the suck!

The one i bought on ebay is about 2-3 hours from me so shipping wasnt to bad. Boooo urns I should have waited a day!

At one of the TRUs in my area it has a clearance tag but no price drop!

Does anybody have the new Beast Wars rerelease of Megatron, the one that's flashing in the HLJ banner? It looks like maybe they did a slight resculpt/repaint on the face, but I haven't been able to find a good picture to either confirm or deny it.

That one's based on the Robot Masters Beast Megatron. Same goes for Optimus Primal. Mind you, they're part of another reissue series.

Thanks! I would've never figured that out on my own. Seriously.

Meg's head looks tons better with the new paint apps, much more menacing. I may have to reconsider that purchase.

Dude i will send you money and shipping if you can get them from TRU for the store price? they are double that online!!! like 100.oo in MISB..on ebay, and my TRU is sold out, they must really like BW here in Virginia.. Most fo my friends are hardcore BW fans.. thent here is the comic shop Jerks who buy em up and jack the prices up, in store and online!!! Bastards!!!

I never saw this set, nor the BWX leader moulds, in Quebec. I guess my TRU just sucks that way. They better get frickn' Soundwave or I'll have to shank someone.
