Best is Predaking.

My fave is Devastator.

This is all fact.

If you do not agree with me on this, you are just plain wrong.

Game over. :-P

I'd have to go with Predaking.

Leokaiser, Raiden, Devastator and Piranhaking also get honourable mentions.

Ah Raiden is definately #1 is poseability. However, Predaking's size and weight are defiantely above the rest.

Right now. Bruticus.

If I ever complete him (I suspect winning the lottery may help in this one), Raiden.

Superion has a close place in my heart because he was the first combiner set I completed (my parents cheated; got me the whole set for Christmas 1986).

Menasor is my favorite, though...the Stunticons are a very specific theme and they just fit in together better than the others.

there you are, I was wondering when you were gonna post..it's been awhile since I saw you posting, hope all things are cool with ya

Computron?? I don't remember a G-1 combiner called that....wasn't that the insane computer with a giant face on a TV screen, that came to life in the G-1 cartoon and had tons of worker bots under his control??

I'll check out the seibertron gallery for reference, But I was sure that was the name of that sentient computer, that was under Megatron's control.....

Computron is the Technobots. They were created in the "Grimlock's New Brain" ep of the TV show, not sure about the comic.

The best are Predaking and Liokaiser!

Out of the gestalts that I had as a kid, I would say Bruticus and Menasor (the only gestalt that I still have).

He was a gestalt that debuted late in season 3, created when Grimlock temporarily got an intelligence boost and was relased as a toy for what was supposed to be year 4. He was the main rival of the Decepticon gestalt Abominus.

Anyways, my fav is Dveastator but I think Predaking is the ebst since he's pretty much the only one, aside the Constructicons, who's members are to scale with weach oter.

I'll agree that Bruticus, Superion, and Defensor had serious intra-group scale issues, but I think Menasor has reasonably-close scale, as do Computron and Predaking.

Devastator has the most interesting transformation. All of the Constructicons transform differently. Cause they are all different molds. Which makes them the most interesting concept in combiner history. But the best combiner toy goes out to Predaking. Cause he's the biggest ,and the most articulated one.

I agree with you guys, Defensor was always a favorite of mine too. Loved the individual components, they had great looking and playable alt modes.
I also loved Computron. IMO Afterburner was the coolest gestalt commander. He had an awesome alt mode with the opening gun in the front, and he was really tall in robot mode. Also, with the gestalts the focus was/is always size and strength. I liked how Computron was different in that regard, with more of a focus on intelligence.
I also liked Superion. Although the toy (or at least the one I had) had terrible problems with the leg bots staying locked into the sockets and was overall kind of delicate, he was the first Autobot gestalt. I remember thinking 'it's about freakin' time!'.
And I don't know if anyone else agrees, but what about Omega Supreme? If you look up the word gestalt, he fits. If I had to pick one favorite, just one, it'd be Omega Supreme.

My favorite is Devastator...
He looks the coolest both in toy-form and from the cartoons.

I can see why people like Predaking best though,
what a beast.

From there,
my favorites are
Defensor
Bruticus
Superion
Omega Supreme

I never really liked Menasor.

Definitely Predaking.
The fact that I own one probably makes me a little biased.

I always liked Menasor too though. The stunticons in general were pretty good.
