Best Gestalt Team Leader?

Postby mechajol » Mon Oct 22, 2007 8:30 pm

Who do you think is the best combining team leader? Any continuity, any reason (looks, toy design, character, leadership style, etc)

IMO, G1 Onslaught's pretty good. And he can be repainted into Optimus' colors in both robot and alt-mode. And Bruticus was cool too.

I'd say Scrapper from the G1 Constructicons. He had a very "lead from the same level" thing going, and was more of a project director than an order-giver.

Onslaught. He was actually leader for reasons beyond being the biggest in the group.

you have to take into consideration, that the teams where different, a each 'leader' had a different way of running things.

Onslaught was a head of a group of mercineries
Scrapper was the leader of a workforce
Razorclaw is the alpha male in a pack
Motormaster is a not so leader in a gang

Silverbolt is a general of a group of soldiers
Technobots are all scientists
Protectobots are a EMS rescue group

i wouldnt say any are better, because most couldnt run one of the other groups, as well as the normal leader.

All are fairly good, really. Apart from Motormaster... he was more feared than respected.

But some leaders stand out a little more than others. Like Scrapper, Silverbolt and Onslaught. They all had good bonds with their team.

I'm going to agree, most of the team leaders were pretty good and for equal reasons. Motormaster was probably the weakest leader because he was just a thug. I vote for Onslaught, but Scrapper would be my second choice.
