Best is hard to define. Best in what way?

If you mean looks then I would say MP/20th Prime. He exactly what he is supposed to be, G1 cartoon Prime.

If you mean which figure can I not leave alone then I would go for Movie Ratchet at the moment, there is something about the transformation that I like.

Actually, I cannot answer this. There are too many to choose from.

Not to pick on you, but....

For real? Its not even great as far as statues go. Its not bad, but, best ever? Stuff like Hard Hero's porcelain statues and all the Palisades 6 inch polystones blow the unleashed stuff away as far as quality and faithful reproduction go.

Also, being a statue, play value is nought.

The best for me is easy. What would you keep if for some dire purpose you had to sell everything and keep just one item.

I'd keep MP-04. I reckon that would make him "best."

I really like Night Viper from the Beast Machines line.

Great sculpting, amazing poseability, and he turns into a snake. Sweet.

Best I've ever had? I don't even know what I have in my parents' house, I still need to find out. Best in my possession would absolutely have to be Leader Prime.

Dorkimus I swear if you had a 2008 bumblebee that would be better than the Leader Prime.

This may sound stupid cos I have 20th any Prime and leader Prime from movie and a hell of other cool toys but my fave is for some reason Powermaster Prime.

The best display toy I've ever owned is MP-01 Prime, hands down. He's just the best looking toy I've ever owned and makes me all nostalgic every time I look at him.

The toy I had the most fun with as a kid was Ultra Magnus. I'd load him up with Sideswipe, Smokescreen, Sunstreaker and Hoist. Then I'd haul them around and have big car chases and battles with Starscream and Skywarp. Plus he was huge in robot mode and could kick the crap out of most anyone. Good times :D

Out of the two TFs that I own, '74 Bumble Bee is my favorite. I loved him in the movie and I love owning a figure of him.

That may change once I get 20th Anni Prime. I just like the more classic version of him than leader Prime.

my favorite ever? hands down g1 sideswipe...always been my favorite since i was little

best toy ever? MP prime is always a good choice but id have to go with Armada Unicron... it is just so aweosome and it was what... 17 years in the making? few things were as satisfying(TF-wise) as opening that the first time (this coming for a collector with TF 700 figures)

also i see alot of people here are saying they only own a few and saying movie toys as their favorites... glad to see the movie brought in a new wave of collecters to the site.. so welcome to the hobby guys :)

My favorite tf toy would be Omega Supreme. The first motorized transformer. By the fact he walks, his face lights up, and the tank moves around the ramp. I wish I would still have mine.

G1 GRIMLOCK

One of my first and my favorite. I got 3 one year for Christmas and was happy about it! A good solid toy (as were most of the dinobots) Currently Classics Grimlock is creaping up and may just top him after I'm done his Repaint.. ;)

I'm a bit of a fan of Energon Unicron because you can have him flip the bird at people, a feat I have seen no other transformer (And few other action figures) achieve.

Check my sig, there's an '08 BB in that picture. ;)

I'm pretty unhappy with '08BB's paint job, mostly when it comes to the doors...the edges around the doors didn't get very good detailing; the edges are kind of rubbed, and he's been transformed around 5 times is all.

MP Optimus, Primus, MP Starscream, MP Megatron can all give 'the bird' in one way or another.

Call me sentimental too then...G1 Snarl rules!
BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

I know you have 08 Bumblebee, I've seen your sig numerous times (and I love it). I just meant that if you had it, why wouldn't you like it more than Leader Prime?

But you've answered so that's cool.
