Hotrod wrote:OMG, I just read the Titans 1 and the newest Green Lantern and both were great for different reasons. I wonder what planet it is that was brought back in Green Lantern. If whole planets can be brought back by the black rings what else is possible and what other surprises are around the corner?

It was before I started reading Green Lantern, but there was a planet that John Stewart was trying to save, and hadn't been so arrogant and asked for backup, he could've saved it. But he was arrogant, so the planet exploded.
Guess the energies of all the black rings re-made it.

I'm worried that there's going to be a simple "snap of the fingers" moment and everything's going to be made better. I'm really hoping this isn't an excuse to mass-regenerate a lot of characters. I hope that after this is all over, the dead that rose will still be dead.tigertracks 24 wrote:Indigo Lanterns, didn't I read that their power is based on granting desire, or something like that? Indigo is compassion, but we dont really know how that'll all play out yet, could be the key, although I'm willing to bet that Hal Jordan will swoop in and save the day. I'm just hoping it's not as cheesy as "The White Lantern" idea I've heard.

Yeah, I was pretty annoyed at that. I was looking forward to NOT seeing him for a while.Mkall wrote:ON the plus side it looks llike the 2nd half solicitations are slowly being announced. Come November we can see:
Adventure Comics - Looks like Superboy Prime's coming back

I don't like him much either. Maybe the blackest night will finish him off.
Burn wrote:Though the whole resurrecting everyone seems a bit boring. Unless they expect us to believe that the rings will only seek out deceased family members of those in the super hero community all across the galaxy.
Either that or they do resurrect every dead person which seems even sillier as the dead will greatly outnumber the living and we'll end up with Marvel Zombies all over again.

That's an interesting twist (sort of), I almost thought he might have been used as sort of an anti-black lantern, but I suppose one might have to go the obvious route here.
After all with a miniseries and all, and the way his character is origined, you would imagine he would play some big part in all this.
