Bonecrusher's raw deal

Postby Saberwing » Sat Jul 21, 2007 11:20 am

Bonecrusher had an awesome robot mode and an impresive and unusual vehicle mode, his prongs left the door open for some really deadly looking attacks......

...and yet he got 60 seconds of the film

Watching the film today I cant help but wonder...why did they bother? Designing Bonecrusher and the highway scene must have been really expensive - yet for 60 seconds of film is all a bit pointless

Do you think the highway scene was much longer at somepoint and extensive footage is missing from the theatrical release? Seems strange they included Bonecrusher at all....

Bonecrusher is my fav design, he really deserved more

It was one memorable piece of cinema regardless. One of my favorite movie moments despite (or maybe because of) it's briefness.

bones needs more

Postby Agent 007 » Sat Jul 21, 2007 1:58 pm

yeah i thought that was kinda cheap. The fight should have been like 5 mins of bonecrusher sliceing prime and he pulls out his sword and they have a cool sword fight wit bones claw grabber thingy. Then bones glides under prime and stabs him in the back. Prime pulles the claw out and flips bones over his head and smashes him on the ground and gets him in the headlock and cuts bones head off! Now that would have been a good fight! :P

The way Prime took his head off was worth it. That was one of the best scenes in the movie.

And people are calling Prime a wuss! Guess he didn't feel like being brutal after that.

eh.. it would've been worse if he was just like shot down or something. Like everyone's been saying, his death was worth it.

Bonecrusher might've put up a good fight with Prime. Michael Bay could've put alot of ninja-style fighting moves.
