I mean, wouldn't he have died from drinking gas for five years straight?

First off how the hell did this kid stay alive for so long? Drinking that much gas for that long he should've died. And what the **** was up with the parents? They knew he was stealing fuel. Didnt they inquire into why? And how did they not notice a decline in the kids motor and mental functions? Did they even take him to the hospital when he drank the first few bottles of gas? I mean i dont have a kid so i really cant judge them to much but still common sense is common sense. If i have a kid and they ever drink gas or something like that even once im going to take him/her to the hospital and then find out why they did it. I swear if TF gets blamed for this im going to lose the little bit of faith i have left in humanity. God its frakin ridicules man. I will admit i like the smell of gas but did i ever think about pouring it in a glass and swigin it down? Hell no. But then again i have and use common sense. Besides it taste horrible any way(old mowers are evil, evil creatures). But seriously only in china right? What too soon? And the kid was obviously an idiot to start, its ENERGON not gas. There are only two episode to my knowledge that even show a bot using gas, in G1 it was when Firstaid left the bots (wait that was oil not gas) ok so one instance, in RID when Mirage was at a full pump. Stupid ass kid get your facts right. And one last thing, since he now has a dependency are they going to keep feeding him gas? I dont think you can go to rehab and get some pills for that? Can you?

Pica.
kirbenvost wrote:Wouldn't drinking that much gasoline kill someone? I'm pretty sure it's fairly poisonous.
Ingestion
Gasoline is not as readily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract as from the respiratory tract. In adults, about 20 to 50 g can cause severe intoxication and 350 g (12 oz.) can result in death for a 70 kg individual. As little as 10 to 15 g (less than one-half ounce) may be fatal in children. Symptoms of intoxication by ingestion of gasoline can range from vomiting, vertigo, drowsiness and confusion to loss of consciousness, convulsions, hemorrhaging of the lungs and internal organs, and death due to circulatory failure. Ingestion can cause irritation to the gastrointestinal mucosa and can be complicated by pulmonary aspiration, resulting in chemical pneumonitis.

hellkitty wrote:Does China actually still use leaded gasoline? We haven't had that in the States since before *I* started driving. (NOT that I think it's much smarter to drink unleaded gas).plasmaprime wrote:Considering the glaring health/saftey issues China has always had when it comes to its industrial enterprise, I'm not suprised that leaded gasoline is still so prevalent. What surprises me is the fact that this child didn't actually DIE years ago. This is Transformers fandom gone wrong...

If I were in there shoe I would have just swapped out the gas for apple juice for a little while.
