I didn't say I hated him. I love the little guy. But a bunch of sources say he's the weakest Autobot, including his tech specs.

actualy i would put the weakest on jazz. Hes the smallest. Not only that but bbs gun punctured brawls chest jazz's shots did nottta to megs. Jazz couldn't survive being ripped in half but yet bumble surived a hit from a rocket and lost his legs and he turned out fine. I like jazz but he's the weakest.

Bumblebee took down Barricade and killed Brawl.

He doesn't look like much of a weak Autobot.

I'm not talking about just the 2007 movie Bumblebee. I'm more thinking about his reputation. It's been generally regarded that Bumblebee historically was the weakest Autobot... at least until Wheelie came around. His survival is a good shot for the Autobots' little brother.

Check out his weaknesses.

Actually, I think thats why I love Bumblebee so much. Basically he takes a lickin and keeps on kickin. ^_^ I just love how he always keeps trying to do his best despite the fact that hes not the biggest or the strongest. I guess they always do describe him as the weakest, I just don't see it.

Bumblebee is generally seen as being the weakest, in G1 he was always least effective and often got into scraps he could never get out of. The other Autobots had to help him out almost constantly.
Also his friendship with Spike probably gave him the persona of not being quite as invincible as the other Autobots; making him more human allows people to relate to him. Which makes him so lovable; because he was always the weakest and had flaws, whereas Prime is a whole different level, practically immortal.

In the movie, Bumblebee wasn't the weakest physically, if he was he would have been a pretty crumby guardian and people would have laughed at how the Autobots sent him to Earth first. Instead, they give him the most character of the Autobots and the strong bond with Sam, therefore keeping him lovable. At the same time making him strong and able allows him to be cool as well as taking a lot of punishment so we can feel sympathy toward him.
You can't kill him off because he's the link the audience has with the Transformers; he's the most human.

(also, Bumblebee was barely in the 1980s film. They couldn't kill him AND Prime in the same film.. that would have been vicious)

HAHAHA! better then Grimlock?! Grimlock could take his armcannon and shove it right up his ass!......*silence*.... and his arm will still be attatched to it......

Anyways the reason why bumblebee proably always survives is due to him having an important roll, And plus he is a popular character.

I disagree. Smallest? Who cares about size? It just mean's he's not intimidating. It also means that he is the most agile, fastest, and more somersault-capable of them all. If you think I'm sticking up for midgets, then why did Prime choose him as First Lieutenant? He's second-in-command of Autobot infantry, next to Ironhide who's weapons expert.

And furthermore, if you play the video game, Jazz SINGLE-HANDEDLY kills Blackout and Starscream before getting taken out by Brawl.

I won't go into what makes canon or what doesn't make canon, but just goes to show that Jazz is NOT the weakest.

And if you want the last word, just read the tech specs on the FAB Jazz. They're pretty high.

Bumblebee is the weakest. But I don't mean that in any negative way at all - the autobots are a VERY balanced team, and each have advantages over the other. As opposed to the Decepticons, who are all brute force and dirty tricks.

Jazz is not the weakest, just the smallest. Think about it, Bumblebee took a hit from SS's misssles and lost his legs, Jazz got blasted by MEGATRON from point black range and was still in one piece.

It not a question of power but of durability.

Bumblebee is the Least durable of the autobots...but he has a better weapon than Jazz
