It'd be a good fight against Link, especially if he had bombs.

Artemis Entreri is another I think could beat Jack.
Both are from the R.A. Salvatore Forgotten Realms novels.

I wanted to say those too.

And maybe Erevis Cale could have a chance.

Never mind the fact that Zaraki is hideously fast and strong.

Jack can cut through steel with a dull bamboo stick and break through concrete with his feet. He survived punches by enemies capable of punching through steel with a single scratch. You are seriously underestimating Jacks durability and strength.

you forget, that we are talking about a tv show with a good guy, not to mention that its cartoon network.

with this in mind you realize that they would buff jack up to inhuman proportions just to win cuz thats what cartoons do, whilst in anime the good guy has to grow stronger steadly and they lose more often then not in the beggining. so, with that in mind, do you really think that this is a fair fight? the indestructible samurai from cartoon network vs any non planet busting swordsmen.

Oh yea and just so you know Cloud Strife or Sepiroth would totally kick jacks ass

Oh, you want the part about Flash-stepping? Hang on, I'll get that one. I think there's something on breaking enchanted steel, so we'll check that one too:

For flash stepping, the fight starts at about 3:00 here.

Breaking steel is here at about 3:38.

I don't have anything on Reentry, but since Gendy Tartakovsky has a tendency to critically overpower his characters (One of the reasons General Grievous was so disappointing in Star Wars Episode III), I think we can leave that out.

Flash step doesn't make him a bullet timer, zanpakuto are as hard as the plot requires and I'll give you a big NO to overlooking any feat of Jack's because he's too overpowered.

You know how bullets are actually visible when they're in motion? You notice how Byakuya was not?

One quick question: That superjump Jack got from the ape-people...did he ever use that after that episode?

Also, I find it odd how you're so quick to break down everything from Bleach, when you clearly have Captain Hitsugaya as your avatar.

Ichigo with his mask on has shown his arm to move considerably fast... I'm inclined to put Jack in Kenshin and Afro Samurai combat tier. The powered Bleach cast exceed both of them considerably although Jack, Kenshin, and Afro Samurai appear to have better sword skills.

Bullets are visible when shot? I don't know about you but most people can't see bullets after they've been shot.

Care to give an example of this inconsistency?

Urahara cutting Ichigo's sword it two saying it's "fluffy and bloated". Ichigo being unable to cut Kenpachi at first but magically his sword is later on able to cut Kenpachi due to a higher resolve.

You ever hear of Tracer ammunition? It's used in Automatic fire to help soldiers tell where their bullets are going. Not used in rifles so much (They had to remove the automatic fire from M16s because it would cause the barrel to melt), but it allows bullets to be seen clearly.

Wow, that is inconsistent, it's almost like he got some kind of upgrade stemming from his mystical sword!

Your average bullet can't be seen by the unaided eye. Obviously the bright light makes them easier to be traced by the human eye, and also leaves a trail for the eye to follow. Not to mention distance also matter a lot when measuring feats like that. And Kenpachi wasn't wearing a reflective suit, in front of a spotlight at the time so you can hardly compare the two instances.

Yay, an upgrade, how much harder has his sword gotten? Who the **** knows. Evidence of it being anywhere hard as steel? Zero. So what do we know now? His sword can be as hard or soft as the plot needs it to be a.k.a. unquantifiable.

Well...considering it's a sword? Yeah, it can be assumed it's at least as hard as steel. He has been seen smashing large areas with it. (It was in one of the videos I posted)

But seriously, do you even know where you got your avatar from?

Except you don't have to be anywhere near as fast as a bullet to disappear from sight. Even if he was as fast as a bullet Jack would still rape him seeing as he deflects and dodges futuristic machinegun fire all day.

Not really considering people don't usually describe steel as fluffy. Nor does the density of steel change with the emotions of the wielder. And him smashing anything made of reiatsu isn't based on force or density but reiatsu, like Kenpachi explained. Another interesting fact is, a powered up Zangetsu couldn't even break the nameless zanpakuto that were likened to normal katana. The fact that you expect something as weak as that to compare to the guy who rends steel like nothing is laughable.

But seriously, do you even know where you got your avatar from?

Captain Hitsugaya Toushirou. He's my favorite.

In a pure swordfight?

My picks are Kenshin from samurai x and duncan macleod from the highlander series.

The battle would leave both combatants mortally wounded though.

Oh, yeah this would more than likely be a one-sided fight. Against one of the MacLeods from Highlander, that'd be good. They are immortal though, so that might cause problems for Jack...

I was thkning that would be a problem, then I realized that while Jack has around 20, maybe 25 years of world-wide training, Connor has 600 years of the same.
