In a world where things are simply black and white that may be the case, but the world isn't like that and not every Decepticon is evil.
But you're obviously an Autobot sympathiser, and you don't get more evil than a group of high and mightys who think they can go around ramming their opinions about what's right and what's wrong, and if it's wrong you automatically have to be stopped.

Okay, seriously.
The first time I saw Unicron was on The Transformers Movie; he was consuming a planet. A "World Eater" like Galactus, Unicron was considered a "god". Yes, taking away innocent lives just for his own needs does make him seem as if he is selfish, relentless and ultimately, cruel. However, cannibals live among our society, predators preyed upon harmless animals, it is all part of the circle of life. If the Autobots could not figure out a plan to feed the "World Eater" or at the least, negotiate with him, who's fault is it, really?

The problem there is Unicron wants to consume and destroy all of existance so that absolutely nothing is left. I would call that pretty Evil

As said in his quote:
"All that does not become a part of me, shall become a part with oblivion!"
But what does he see in being the only thing left?

There's plenty of things which show no logic in the TFU.

Dead Metal wrote:Nah he's his own aliance, he just choses the Cons as his heralds, cos you just have to tell them that they will get a lot of power if they work for him and that's what they want power!
Dead Metal wrote:Night Striker wrote:But then why does he in both the movie, and Armada want to destroy both groups of Transformers if he's the creator of the Decepticons? I was under the impression that the Con's actually formed the group after feeling that the Autobots totally screwed them over back after the first great war ended.
I could be wrong though. Didn't Sideways in Armada say he held no alligence with any of the Decepticons or Autobots? And By Armada's story didn't The Big U, create the Minicons?
In Armada Sideways was Unicron and created the Minicons with his organic material.
Nah he's his own aliance, he just choses the Cons as his heralds, cos you just have to tell them that they will get a lot of power if they work for him and that's what they want power!
