But these are the best parts of TRAMP WARS, in every one I've been privy to members dig deep to express thier own knowledge and oppinions.

And when it's all over, everyone shares a comradery expressing thier ideas that normaly would have just been passing staments.

Granted there are sadly some frustrating casualties that are not deserved, but still for those who can hang on, the conversations become much richer.

I've gone many rounds with him, and can say, you can normaly tie him up in a numbers game(which is sad cause I suck at numbers), but I've never seen anyone shut him up as quickly as Night Striker, which lead to a great conversation in it's self!

As an ordained minister and a man holding a Doctorate of Divinity, you are completely wrong. Holy Scripture doesn't have to be the Bible, it is any religious text - it's the same with Sacred Scripture, it is used to denote a texts religious revelation from a God or God(s).

As for the difference between god and God, the lowercase god denotes a "false" or "lesser important" divine being ... while a capitol G means the one you believe in.

And, as for Lord, the word is always capitalized if it is a title, even if it is not referring to the Judea-Christian G-d. In face, if you were referencing G-d, it would be LORD, not Lord. Because Lord is used as a religious title in Paganism, and Dark Lord (also capitalized) is a title for the concept of Satan.

But back to Holy Scripture, the Transformers universe has a set of texts/videos/etc which are the basis of its "religion" ... so yes, we could say that the G1 Cartoon/Beast Wars/Beast Machines is one set of Holy Scripture for the Transformers. Just because something else or someone else writes something in that universe does not make it a part of scripture.

You use the Bible to your defense, but there are hundreds of thousands of books written about Jesus, not just the 4 Gospels, but some people do not take them as "cannon" (my church includes the Gnostic Gospels), but they met the criteria you set forth, so why are they not included?

Or better yet, why isn't the Book of Mormon cannon to all Christians? I mean, a lot of people believe it and is stated as fact ... so why isn't it "Jesus Cannon."

MTMTE is not cannon because it wasn't written by the authors/creators of the specific universes. I can write a book about Jesus, people could follow it and I could say it is a fact, but that doesn't make it so.

Now, I may not be the authority on Transformers here (but I like to think I know some things), but I'll be damned if you chose to argue religion with me.

I'm curious about something there. If I, as a non-Christian (pagan), was talking about the Judeo-Christian "God", would I capitalise it? I thought He was just generally known as God (all other deities have proper names), but I don't believe in Him as such, so would I just refer to Him in a lower-case sense?

My Dad was a Roman Catholic Deacon, my Mom a Eucharistic Minister. I was raised in Catholic shcool, and studied early philosophy with members of my regional Archdiocese including the former ArchBishop of Newark. For a short term I even worked or said Diocese. My Brother is also a Evangelistic Minister.

I'm not religious, but just wanted to give this bit of backround as a sign of experience when I say I agree with, and back you.

This guy-Tramp-is banned for discussing and arguing with everyone's opinions? Does that mean if I disagree with someone else, anyone else on here, and hold to my opinions, I'm going to get booted if it's not in the majority? Was he following you around and harassing you or what? That I could TOTALLY understand but I've gotta be missing something here, because it seems like he just kept going on and on (and I will admit, at great and steadfast length) about whatever the hell it was he felt was yay and nay in Transformers. I think it was more of the fact that he did it in excess. & as someone else pointed out earlier, if someone proved him wrong, he'd just twist things around to make him seem right again. You should have seen his thread about what soundwave should be in TF2. Soundwave had to be a CD player, & the biggest big-ass boombox possible...he couldn't be anything else because then he wouldn't be Soundwave. He had to himself sneak into whatever place he needed to, undetected, as a big-ass boombox. His minions couldn't do any of the spy work for themselves, yet he still needed them. he couldn't be a military comm truck sitting outside while his minions snuck in & did the spy work themselves, because a truck outside would stick out like a sore thumb. & he had to be a music player, because that's where the name "Sound" comes from...couldn't be possibly referring to radar & sonar capabities, or sound-based weaponry....it had to be for music.

Which all that in itself wasn't so bad, but this small paragraph was repeated constantly for 30+ pages, constantly used to knock out any new opinion on what the new poster might want Soundwave to be.

...that & he has a bad habit of using bold text at random that makes his posts hard to read because all the bold words keep jumping out at you.

Actually, thanks for the insight and critique on religion and all that malarky. However I have to ask, since the DW MTMTE series isn't, by your astute definition considered canon, how then is the Bible considered canon, when it clearly wasn't written by the creator of our universe? At least, not directly. Not trying to start any agro, ask anyone, I am open to other's opinions (unlike some other Tra...members), just wondering how you view that.

You also forgot, Craggy, my precious has sexy drwaings of female cartoon robots! Damolisher shouldn't mock me for my sexual attraction to Airazor and Nightbird, since they're the only females I could ever get, even though they aren't real!
