As mentioned in the haul thread, I recently got Cybertron Metroplex, and I noticed he has spots for about nine million minicons to merge with him. I have two of the Classics minicon teams - Clear Skies and Dirt Diggers. The minicon that came with Metroplex (Drill bit?) has a weapon mode, though the Laserbeak that came with Cybertron Soundwave doesn't appear to have one.
I was wondering if the Classics had any official weapon modes as well. They all have the little round connector with the tiny peg in the middle and I can mount them on Metroplex like he's some kind of jungle gym, but if they can transform into weapons, that'd be even better.

Um... most of the Mini-cons from Armada, Energon and Cybertron should fit on Metroplex as well.
And here's the rest of the those Classics Mini-cons

I guess I didn't say clearly what I'm after - I knew that about the minicons, what I was wondering is if the CLassics ones have weapon modes...the directions that came with the ones I have don't say anything about weapon modes.

none of the clasics minicons have weapon modes.
For minicons with weapon modes the best examples are from armada and are the emergency and air assault teams. The military and sea teams both have projectiles that can be used when applied to bigger figures too.

thanks for the info MegaDave. I kinda folded a few of them (like Thunderwing and Oil Slick) into weapon-like modes...Oil Slick is kinda like a knife with his claws sticking out, but couldn't find anything official. I'll check out the Armada minicons. I like that idea, like Pokemon meets TargetMasters.
