I'm not, it was insulting. "If he can't afford 2 cheap toys, then he picked the wrong hobby." I forgot, that this was vintage car collecting, oh wait, it's not.

You don't know the age or financial situation of this person, so don't make a comment. And I also don't appreciate the reply.

So what? One can be a site moderator AND oversensitive. Those guys are, you know, humans?

hey guys, that's enough. we're getting off topic here.

i say, get voyager classics. you'll never regret it. excellent articulation and homage to the original.

i have one and i'm really keeping him as my first prime ever, not having had the luxury of owning G1, powermaster, nor G2.

No, it's the rules. Also. arguing with a moderator is against the rules as well.

If you hadn't noticed, most people in this thread felt it was an insult as well. I'm not debating this anymore. Move on, or consider each one of my replies a warning.

We do have rules for a reason, because as an example this thread went from someone asking a question to peole arguing over your insult. Here are the rules, please read them:

See, I made a statement, and you guys jumped on me. If you have a problem with my personal opinion, I can't do anything about it and I certainly won't censor myself. I'm not here to kiss asses, I'm here to post my opinions, just like you. Thank you.

Well having just received the Magnus/Skywarp double pack (more for Skywarp than Magnus) i have to say one of my future purchases will be the voyager Classics Prime as this mold is quite simply awesome. Movie Prime? it's leader class or not at all in my opinion.

Weapon: Air Rifle
Which mould do you prefer?

I'd go with that one.

Surely, of the two, there's one that like more than the other?

Ditto. If i could find a classics Prime id buy one, even though i have loads of Prime figures already, including and original G2 prime.

After reading various reviews and seeing more pictures of Movie Prime, I've decided on the Classics version. The movie's bot mode is really bland and not very acurate to the movie at all.

The Classics version looks fun and well, classic. Plus he looks very posable and just a great toy all around.

Everyone seems to be saying Classics. Is it that good? I passed on one a few days ago at WalMart. He seems small for a Voyager, and the kibble on the arms bugs me.

The only thing I don't like about Movie Prime is the horrid backpack. Still not sure what they were thinking there. The rest of the toy is solid though, IMO.

I would also suggest Classic Prime (first anyway). He is all but gone in most stores, where Voyager Movie Prime will be around for at least a couple months yet.

Plus, if you have a preference on color, you have 3 Voyager Movie Primes to chose from:

Original
Target Exclusive Robovision (Which will come packed with '08 Bumblebee SOON!)
And the G1 based repaint coming out soon, which if I remember correctly, is a Walmart exclusive.

So with all those choices to choose from, I would definitely suggest getting Classics Prime now and waiting until you have a chance to decide which version of Voyager Movie Prime you like best.

As for me, I've bought them all (except the G1 repaint as it has not been released). 8)

I got Classics Prime before I got Voyager Movie Prime. Both are cool, and are a tie for me.

Classics Prime in robot mode looks better than G1 Prime, to me at least. Looks great! Vehicle mode is rather good too. I like it. Flat nose rig is classic Prime.

Voyager Prime is VERY nice as well. Just like Classics Prime, great posability, and is a little bit taller. Better light piping. Truck mode is NOT classic Prime, but a nice update. You can NOT go wrong with either, or better yet, getting both.

You will NOT be dissapointed my friend.

I would still suggest picking up a voyager movie Prime variant somewhere down the line. It is a nice figure, just the standard paint job is somewhat bland.
I reccomend the G1 style variant.

Get Leader Prime. I know you're against Leaders, but I love Movie Leader Prime. One of my absolute collection favorites.
