About two weeks ago at Wal-Mart my girlfriend and i were digging around the toy aisle and picking the "Classics" out of the "Movie" Transformers. I picked out a Jetfire and Grimlock and was going to get one more. She held up one and said "Here's Skywarp, you want him?" I told her no, i allready had Starscream and Ramjet and I decided on Rodimus.
I know it was Skywarp! It was a black and purple jet on a Classics card, NOT a Cybertron card. There was a Cybertron Skywarp there, and it still was there today, but the Classics Skywarp has been gone for days.
Now, I've checked 5 different sites that have complete lists of all lines, including Seibertron, and looked on eBay, and have learned that there never was a single carded Skywarp, only the Magnus/Skywarp two-pack. So what in the hell did I see? My girlfriend remembers and says YES, it was Skywarp. It was a black and purple jet on a classics card.
Question is:
Was Skywarp released at the end of the run on a card, and websites haven't updated this fact?
Was this an error; Skywarp on a Starscream card?
Could someone have bought the two-pack on clearence and switched Skywarp for Starscream and returned it? (This happens all the time with Star Wars stuff)
Were we BOTH having a hallucination?
I will kick myself for months for not buying it that night. I passed it up to get a Rodimus
