Completed my G1 cartoon DVD collection!

Postby Supreme Convoy » Thu Jan 29, 2009 1:07 am

:BOT: A few years ago, I bought 3 of Rhino's boxsets but held off on buying Season 2 Part 2 and Season 3/Season 4. Then it went out of print so I knew I might pay a heavy premium on the remaining sets. Initially, I was excited that Sony might re-release the G1 series but that's on hold. Plus, being a neurotic collector I didn't want to re-buy sets.

I thought I might find a deal on them but I broke down recently and picked them up.

I must say it's worth it have the DVDs on my shelf. Looks good! :CON:

Weapon: Blinding Black Light Beam Gun
I'm jealous of your seasons 3 and 4.

I never picked them up for my DVD collection.

:BOT: It's a seven-shelves DVD rack. I really need to go and organize it. There's use to be an order to it: favorite movies of all time, manly shelf (Indiana Jones, Sergio Leone Westerns), non-manly (the entire Gilmore Girls collection)... but it's in random order now. :CON:

Congratulations on completing your collection. I wish I had bought those. I'm waiting for Sony to re-release them, but I might break down and just by the boxset from Madman. It's only work in my computer, but that's okay. It's already set to Region 4. My set skips sometimes. It's not all the time, but occasionally. And it's never in the same spot. I'm looking forward to new ones. I only need RiD, Beast Wars II and Neo and I'll have a complete TF DVD collection. I don't put my DVD's on a shelf, though. I have a whole drawer in my dresser dedicated to them. Then I always know where they are.
Recently Acquired:
Animated: Deluxe Blurr, Deluxe Swindle, Deluxe Blazing Lockdown, Leader Ultra Magnus

Universe: Deluxe Starscream, Deluxe Cheetor, Deluxe Cyclonus, Legends Beachcomber, Legends Brawn, Robot Heroes Cheetor Vs. Blackarachnia, Robot Heroes Cheetor Vs. Tankor, Robot Heroes Rhinox Vs. Waspinator

Valentine's Day came a little early. Lol.

Yeah i will be irritated until RID comes out. I got Energon the other day. Its awesome cause i have a shelf from left to right of all transformers sets. One day these Japaneze transformers cartoons will get a good and full english dub. Until then i wont be buying them, as far as im concerned other transformers series across seas dont exist until their in english.

Nice, I only bought Season 2 Part 2 because they were a bit pricey for me back in the day. Now I ordered the Madman Version and hopefully my Homebrewed Wii will be able to play that region, otherwise Im gonna have to look for a Region-Free DVD Player.
