There is a lone Metroplex sitting at a Family Dollar store that I recently purchased a Galaxy Force OP from. Is he worth buying?--only $20.. I like his robot mode, but his alt mode looks like he's getting ready to play prison or something... Thoughts??

Get him. He may not look like much, but he's tall: as tall Primus in his battle mode. And $20 is a steal for any Leader.

Ye Metroplex is actually pretty big. He has some cool features and gimmicks, definetly worth that low of a price. As JelZe said, any leader at that price is a steal.

definitely buy it. you can give Sparkdrinker to Optimus. and he's the only giant planet character that has a gold key!

the transforming part may pinch ur fingers, but he's worth it. he's taller than primus!

Galaxy Force Prime is a good deal at $40, let alone $20. Go buy it. Now.

Metroplex was decent for $20, but I probably would not have paid $40.

I got mine for $10 on clearance at Target. I'm not so sure I would have been happy paying more than that for it.

I paid about $10 on clearance too; and that is what it is worth to me. I like the super bot mode. He kind of looks like a dumb giant. The alt mode is not even worth looking at.

I'd definitely say get him. I held off on getting one for ages because I couldn't stand the look of him. Perhaps if they hadn't named him Metroplex I wouldn't have been so hesitant. Then my wife talked me into getting him (for some strange reason I'll never understand) and I've never regretted it. True, his alt mode leaves a little to be desired, but you can get some awesome unofficial alt modes out of him. And his robot modes both kick ass in terms of poseability.

Get him.

His alt mode is kinda 'meh', but his two bot modes are great! Plus the axe! If he was $40 I'd say it's a toss up, but for $20 I'd say you are morally obligated....

I would only consider getting the Takara version because of the better paint job (especially on the weapon). If not, I would pass on it.
