Easy: A. 50. I'm not gonna name them all plus their capitals mind you (who can actually?). Some people say either 48 or 52, because of Alaska and Hawaii. Either they're not counted at all or counted double

Sheesh, splitting hairs over States vs. Commonwealths.If we're going that route, KY (yummy chicken), PA, MA and VA are Commonwealths. WA however, is not.
