just a story idea i wanted to run by you guys.

megatron would be in leauge with hitler. he would be a luger pistol

but he would be hitlers personal pistol and would not size change. think of it as his gemini cricket. sitting on his shoulder telling him things and whatnot.

they would work together for their own goals.

hitler would be killing people for his religous reasons and megatron would refine the organic material into energon. possibly becouse human death releases more energy than expected or whatnot.

soundwave could be a recordplayer or one of thows old gigantic radios.

voltswagon means that there woulnt be bumblebee but instead bugbite.

and as the protagonist of bumblbee we could get hound.

As for Megs being the same size, Browning holds that gimmick already.

But Hitler killing for religious reasons??? Set aside that the whole of the debate about Hitler and his religious beliefs are a matter of debate for historians, the view publicly shown was more of a belief in "the Motherland and the Party" than a looking to a higher diety, and later to the plans the Reich had to nationalize the RCC.

Hitler was a Madman, and his actions were that of a man blinded by his beliefs to the tune of 17 million deaths. Megatrom wouldn't need to convince or guide him in anyway, he would just have to let Hitler do what he was going to do and run Decepticon operations in kind within the structure of the Third Reich.

As for Megs using organic matter, (and thank you for creating the mental image of decepticons filling energon cubes over the stacks of Auschwitz) the idea of using fresh bio-matter for power has also been seen before.

and i know that hound and bugbite are what they are. thats why i selected them. so we wouldnt have bumblebee in the story looking weird as a german car. and hound fits that role perfectly.

Personally I liked the WW2 themed TF/Joe crossover from DW, but I have no desire or interest in seeing an actual TF story involving the Third Reich or Nazis in general.

I do tend to go for the bad guys in that the a good chunk of my TFs are Cons, and 90% of my Joe collection is Cobra, but to have things where either of those groups are directly involved or assisting in the horrendous true events that the Nazi were part of, would truly be a disservice to many fans.

I can't understand all this fascination with something as horrible as the 3. Reich and I can understand the desire of actually involving a kids toy franchise with this is just sick.
It's kinda like that guy posting way back in the old Philosophy forum claiming that he was part of a British group re-enacting the SS and it's actions for fun. And stating that he and his group did not glorify that stuff, well a few months later the BBC had a look at that very group and found out that 80% of the people involved where fu*king dedicated Nazis. And god damn do I wish I had the real name of that guy who called himself Hans during that report, if the German authorities knew what he sells at those "conventions" and what he wears, oh boy that would make a looooooong time of but rape in prison for him.

No to Nazi Decepticons in any form of toy or media. Anything of that nature is demeaning to the survivors and descendants of their reign of terror. You can just see the backlash if Hasbro attempted to do anything with any kind of alliance between their properties and Hitler.

That's exactly the point. Look at VW, they are a strong company that has done a ton of work to distance themselves from the fact they were started in Germany under the government of madmen.

They started out as the company to get the common "sons of the Motherland" in an automobile. Now they are a worldwide company with employees of many nationalities and races. Can you blame them if they don't want to be lumped in with the fools who may have been around at the beginning?

It's the same a person who was raised right, does well in school, gets a great job, becomes a community leader, but every now and then some bozo decides to point out that he was adopted and his biological parents were crooks. Big deal what the source is, let them do what they do, and if they don't want to be associated with the unfortunate past in their history, leave them be.

Means nothing, I own the box sets for those shows. It's not a question of humour, it's the way the humour is applied.

Family Guy has Brian, Stewie and Mort running around making fun of the Nazi movement when they went back in time.

Robot Chicken take the piss out of everything so by design it can't be taken seriously.

Your idea involves characters from Transfandom getting directly involved with the events resulting in the slaughter of real people. Hell you have them creating energon out the deaths of people. Hitler may have wanted a lot of things, some of what he wanted, had he gotten it would directly result in a lot of hardship and the deaths of many more.

I can laugh at the idea of Samuel L. Jackson in full SS regalia in "The Spirit" because it is done for shock and lulz. However seeing one of my grandfather was involved in the war effort against the Axis, and my hometown was hit by the blitz. My humour on this subject matter can only go so far.

I will say that while I'm not against the use of Nazis in media... but TF Nazis? Could make for an interesting story if done tactfully, but doing so would be nearly impossible and would offend people.

yea i have a pretty differnet mindset than others. i mean. whats the worst case scenario? its not like the survivors are going to sue... if so im pretty sure they would have sued the neo nazis.

i guess im an a-hole. but im the kind of guy who dosnt care if people want an abortion since we have too many gangsters haveing retarded kids. that has nothing to do with nazis. but its just an example of my lack of sympathy. i have a Aspurgers so i have quite a low level of emotions.

It could be done. The hard part is keeping it tactful. Simpelist way is an alternate reality WWII happened different, yadda yadda yadda tf's awake early. I mean Captain america fought Hitler in the comics (and they made a TF of him)

The hardest part about making it would be doing it good, and getting an audience to buy it. Might make a 3 issue mini series, 4 issue at best.

Long story short, good guys beat bad guys, alternate future, and earth explodes

Not to crap on your parade...but, I think the version we got with Joe and Cobra is about as close as this idea is going to ever come to fruition. I would like to parrot one of the other posters in stating that pairing that timeline, including Hitler, with a kids franchise is not a good idea.

Considering that Germany bans anything having to do with that era, and the touchiness of the subject, this fanfic would probably have a small fanbase at best. Most likely, it would be made up of misguided fools that still idolize that freak.

Also, the mere thought of Megatron, as Hitler's "Jiminy Cricket"...your kinda grabbing a few good ideas, and slamming them into a wall.
