shouldn't be out this week? i could swear chris ryall said it would be out but i just checked diamond shipping lists and its not on for this week or next week!

The Diamond Select lists are well known for being grossly incorrect, especially for the "following" weeks lists.

Spotlight Optimus Prime was not on the "following week" list, but was still shipped okay, on the correct date.

Why Devastation is not on this weeks list is bothersome though, we've had to wait far too long for it because of all the movie crap.

hmm i wonder if the grimlock and bumbleebee staues will actually come in then(theyre listed there)?

and ive havent really noticed TOO many errors in the current shipping lists(i check it every monday) so i hope it is in fact there...because i hoping that devestator will make his 1st appearence!

I hope it is shipped as well, but seeing as it is not on the Diamond list, the chances of that are minimal.

And dont get your hopes up for Devastator. Sixshot and the Reapers are the big bad for this arc.

yeah i heard about sixshot,and the reapers being the villans but with a name like "devestation" he was the 1st thing to spring in my mind... but with the combiner tech being introdued in the prime spotlight my hopes were up again, since we havent really seen much of the constructicons yet...

oh also my store didnt have any new transformers stuff

I called my store today (Thursday), they too did not get it in. I was told more or less: "If it isn't on the Diamond list on our homepage, we did not get it in stock."

Ryall should be copping some flack for this...

Apparently, it's rumored that the thing's been pushed back to October 3rd. Which, sadly, looks to be the same day that the Beast Wars books are coming out now, too.

At least it's a shorter wait until Issue #2 for both Devastation and BW... if they dont get delayed as well...

OK, so I know who to blame if that happens...

In any event, it's still little compensation as far as I'm concerned. Then again, as far as I'm concerned, at this point there's a pretty hugeass mountain for me to climb if I'm hoping to get excited about these books again.

As long as we don't start hearing murmurs about artists not being paid, I'll be sweet.

Personally I blame all these delays and issues on the movie crap IDW had to pump out.

You mean the movie crap they released back in the beginning of the year, which didn't seem to affect the release of "The Gathering" or "Escalation" in the slightest? Or the stuff in June that got all done in the same month, and, Alex Milne's health notwithstanding, got out with no problems whatsoever?

Does anyone know when Megs Origins #4 will be out. It seems to have dropped off the face off the earth? I thought it was supposed to be out on the 26th.

No clue. It obviously has to come out before December, which is when the TPB is getting released.

Though, going solely on past experience, I wouldn't be surprised if it turned up in the middle of next year.

This delay is somewhat annoying.

It sucks that everyone is so into devastation and Ascending that this one has been forgotten in the announcement. I mean i really want those, but they're both issue 1's. And i've been waiting long enough for them that the extra doesn't really matter to me as much. Though i feel for you on those BW books. If this had happened to SL:Galvatron, there would have been a trail of wreckage in my wake all the way from New York to San Fransisco.

They're also part of IDW's flagship of the TF brand. Devastation is part of their main title, and Ascending has been hyped for the better part of the last year.

With how quickly IDW pumped out the Movie related TPB's, it would not surprise me to see the Megatron Origins series issue #4 come out only a few weeks ahead of the the Trade.
