As we all know, he's more cerebral, and definitely a man with a quiet nature. Perhaps his suffering is going on inside...I mean what solider would follow a leader who breaks down in front of them? Would it humanize him more? Of course, but I thought was genuine and with affection when he said "Aww...Jazz."
Plus with his brother dying, his fate resting in the hands of boy, and no way home...that's a hell of a lot of stuff to carry inside his head.
People nitpick the scene and the portrayal, but I think it's a more realistic scene than many are willing to give credit to.

Aww man, you had to go and make this serious XD
Only kidding. I agree, actually. You wouldn't follow into battle a man (or woman, do robots have gender?? who knows) who fell to his knees & cried out a long, painfully awkward scream every time one of his men (again, or women XD) died or was wounded?
Moonbase2 wrote:Well, the problem is that there are only five of them. He doesn't know if there even are any more. I'm not really mad at his reaction, just how the death of the second in command centuries-old warrior is reduced to a punchline for Megatron.
Phenotype wrote:To all of the people who say Jazz's death was "glossed over", what did you guys expect Prime to say? How was he supposed to react? Did you want him to fall on his knees sobbing and scream out to the heavens?
