No, because the guy that writes it is a twat that pushes everyone into worshipping Hasbro and whenever anyone points out the obvious flaws in their product, he calls them insane and makes comics where his author surrogate gets angry at a nasty misrepresentation of the person he wasn't smart enough to argue with.

So I tend not to read shortpacked.

He points out plenty of flaws with Hasbro if you actually bother to read some of his strips. Hell the one today is about a flaw in the movie - one of your specialist subjects ;;)

Sometimes its a little hit and miss but generally its a funny strip.

Personally I find mockery of over zealous fanboys hilarious...

I guess you wouldn't...

Looks pretty cool :-?
BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

I know I'm not the only one who found Prime's reaction to be fine.

As we all know, he's more cerebral, and definitely a man with a quiet nature. Perhaps his suffering is going on inside...I mean what solider would follow a leader who breaks down in front of them? Would it humanize him more? Of course, but I thought was genuine and with affection when he said "Aww...Jazz."

Plus with his brother dying, his fate resting in the hands of boy, and no way home...that's a hell of a lot of stuff to carry inside his head.

People nitpick the scene and the portrayal, but I think it's a more realistic scene than many are willing to give credit to.

Aww man, you had to go and make this serious XD

Only kidding. I agree, actually. You wouldn't follow into battle a man (or woman, do robots have gender?? who knows) who fell to his knees & cried out a long, painfully awkward scream every time one of his men (again, or women XD) died or was wounded?

That hit the nail right on the head. As much as I love the movie, after repeated viewings recently, Jazz and the Cons realy got short changed. And Prime's "Aww Jazz" then on to other things reaction was icing on the cake. Poor Jazz, he got no respect.

Funny stuff though.

I dunno... I do wish there'd been more of a reaction, but let's face it. Megatron is hurling two pieces of Jazz against a building. Prime KNEW he was dead before Ratchet and Ironhide told him.

And here's another thing...if he had cried out, he'd be labeled the next Darth Vader. We're still hearing about the "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" part of Episode III. (Which was actually fitting, he lost the reason he became such a monster...)

Can't win one way or the other.

There is a way Optimus should react to something like that.

I definitely think a "NOOOOO!!!" would've been worse. God, that ruined that scene. It wasn't so much that he yelled "NOOO!", it was the WAY he yelled it. Like Jones was like, "oh what my line? Oh yeah *yawn*....NOOOOOOOO!"

I agree with Autobot032, I was actually going to start a thread about this but I figured it would just turn into a flame war like every other movie topic on this forum so I will just say it here.

To all of the people who say Jazz's death was "glossed over", what did you guys expect Prime to say? How was he supposed to react? Did you want him to fall on his knees sobbing and scream out to the heavens? Prime has been fighting the war for centuries, he's lost more comrades than he can remember, he's not going to make some long-winded speech every single time one of his crew bites the dust. Really, I want to know what you guys think could have been done to improve that scene because honestly I'm getting a little tired of hearing people say they glossed over Jazz's death.

Well, the problem is that there are only five of them. He doesn't know if there even are any more. I'm not really mad at his reaction, just how the death of the second in command centuries-old warrior is reduced to a punchline for Megatron.

Actually, he does know. "This is to any Autobots taking refuge among the stars, we are here, and we are waiting." A little bit of it is hope, but there's a part of him that knows.

I mean if those five survived, others must have as well. We're not dealing with a race of idiots here.

Not all of them are geniuses though...lol

The expected reaction in a movie would be to get visibly angry, more determined... something along those lines. Certainly not "d'awww *toss*"
