Um yea what Deadpool said.
Just to add to that Decepticons who can't fly in alt mode are allways able to in robot mode. Why do they even need flying alt modes if they can fly in robot mode?

Only their robot modes were changed to fit the vehicle mode sence the original Bumblebee still looked he Transformed into a VW Bug.Rodimus Primal wrote:The G1 toon writers and animators didn't care too much about what the alt modes on many of the TFs were back on Cybertron or they would have made all of the characters look different in both modes. The important thing was that they were different. War Within did more proper redesigns for them that were cool enough to make fans want them made into officially canon toys.
Megatron can be whatever he wants to be. In all incarnations he's been extremely powerful. I just think his jet modes have been very cool.
I think the War Within designs are cool because they look like the Cybertronian vehicles rather than Earth forms and still look like they kept most of their robot mode appearance. WW Megatron for example even though he has a different alt mode still looks mostly like G1 Megatron but with a little more detail.
I don't really like the story line because the Dynobots shouldn't exsist yet but they still look cool.
Even the G1 U.S. and U.K. comics from Marvel had the Dinobots exsisting on Cybertron before coming to earth. The original Toy bio's on the tec-spec's on the back of the Dinobot toy's box's said that the Dino's were from Cybertron and every comic since has told the story the same way.
But since I dont think your into comics all that much you might not have knowen that.
The only time that the Dinobots story had them being created on earth was in the G1 toon.
Well not all the stories can be of the awesomeness of the G1 Cartoon.

Don't know if it's been said, but in More Than Meets The Eye(first 3 episodes for those who don't know) the Autobots could fly too. In the episode War Dawn, the robots with the new flight ability enthraled Orion Pax(he thought they where cool).
I don't know what type of relavence this would have here outside of fun facts, but there you have it

Some Autobots could fly in other episodes besides the 3 part More Than Meets The Eye episode.

To be fair he was allso a Transport/Car/Tank (not really sure what that thing was), a jet, a Gargoyal/Bat (Instructions say Gargoyal, cartoon says bat), and a two headed Dragon.Powermaster Jazz wrote:Which ever one isn't a gun. Everything else that Megatron was (besides the stupid modes he had in RID, a giant hand? C'mon!) was cool.

I would say "I'll keep an eye out" but the chances of me sitting through that episode again are slim.
