Then eliminate these things from the regular line up. Especially from Leader Class toys.
A big trans fat no.

If you take out the batteries and circuits, you'll have more room for more intricate transformations. The bots will be lean, just like in the movie. Not to mention more numerous smaller parts, more articulations, and more tiny details.

Have you had a look at recent Transformers? They are more intricate and detailed than ever. And electronics in Leader Prime, Leader Meg and Leader Brawl don't interfere at all with the their functionality.

Its fun the first time you transform something, but I just take out the batteries. Only Optimal Optimus from the BW line was spared. Since he's not doing any sounds, just lights. But hey, these are toys designed for kids. So what are ya gonna do. Just buy the damn thing, take out the batteries and enjoy the toy, that's what you're gonna do.

In fact they do. For Megatron, his tail is so heavy. Most of the time, he'll fall on his back. The circuitry makes the torso very solid one piece. But it should be more detailed and flexible. BB is small, but his torso is much better detailed and flexible than Megatron.
For Prime, his back side is all wrong. The main reason being the batteries and circuitry. So the cylinder thing can't really move to the correct V position, because of the connections in the electronics. It's stucked as vertical pipes on his back. Also, Prime's size and manner of transformation makes him a perfect candidate for a decent interior of the truck. Something like Alternators. Even better. It's got lots of space that don't need to be torn apart or crumble during transformation. Because of the lighting effects, we can't have these. All we see is some chrome solid thing inside.

i guess for leader brawl the battery isn't that much on the way regarding his flexibility..it's on the main turret on his back..you'll just see little wires crawling to his body for the switch..

-Megatron should be wearing his fusion cannon on top of his arm, not under. Lame non-G1 colors too.
-Starscream's wings get in the way when it's time to pose the arms.
-Astrotrain has 2 terrible alternate modes.
-Grimlock looks like a dog.
-Poor transformation scheme for Jetfire, they don't even bother hiding the hands.
-Stupid and uimaginative gun for Mirage.
Movie toys are wayyyy better/more interesting imo.
Btw, never had any problem posing Megatron. Don't know what is the back heavyness you're talking about.
