Does anyone remember this G1 episode?

Ok, so I could be making this up but I think there was an episode in G1 season 3 where the Technobots all formed up into Computron and then Computron just stood there. The human kid at the time (Daniel? can't recall.....) asked Computron what he was doing just standing there and Computron replied "I'm thinking."

Was this a real episode or am I making it up?

I have no idea. I think that what I am trying to figure out is if this line ever really was spoken or if I made it up. I don't remember enough of season 3 to know any of the epsisode titles anyway.

I far as I can remember that line was never spoken. I can't recall daniel ever met Computron, but I can't garente that.

I concurr that Daniel never met Computron, however perhaps your thinking of the season 3 episode "Money is Everything", when Dirk asks Marissa what Computron is doing after he explains his plight at the begining of the episode. It's been awhile since I saw the episode, but it fits the criteria.

spot on! after dirk manners takes marrisa and the bots to the quintesons, marrisa asks why they're not doing anything, and they reply that they're thinking!

Ok, so my episode recall was off but that line did indeed occur. Whew, makes me feel better. Thought I made it up.

The episode is called Money is Everything from season 3. It had nothing to do with Daniel. He wasn't even in the episode. It had to do with an opportunistic trader named Dirk Mannis ,and Marissa Fairborne. It featured the technobots ,terrorcons, and quintessons. Dirk saw the technobots merging into Computron. He asked Marissa what they were doing? She said in Computron mode the technobots can calculate whether they can trust him or not. She said regardless what Computron says that she would keep an eye on him.

In "Grimlock's New Brain" when Computron was formed for the first time, he had the ability to process knowledge but no knowledge to process resulting in him just standing there until Grimlock removed his new-found knowledge and gave it to Computron.

There is also the event in "Money is Everything" that other posters have already discussed.
