C'mon, what is the basis of ALL of the classic lines? G1!!!!!! The movies are what brought me into following TF storylines, so I praise them. But maybe, if we pretend to step back in time 20 years or so, we can just stay with G1 for the rest of the brand's history. That way, the innovation dies and we can prevent newer generations of fans (like myself, actually) from liking anything else. And what do you expect to be in the movies besides miltary vehicles, planes, and weapons? Do you want to watch a bunch of Transforming late-model Honda Civics in fist fights? (Hope I'm not being too rude)

No. But there's just flat-out no excuse for not having Hound with all of the military vehicles available.

Never thought of Hound being in the movies, but he would be a good one to have. I may sound like a broken record, but WHERE IS ULTRA MAGNUS??? OR PROWL??? OR THE STARSCREAM CLONES??? Ok, I guess I have some slight agreement there.

Ha! Of those you mentioned - the other seekers, UM and prowl are very high on the list of bots who should be in too!!!! I know they can't put everybody in, but to not have TC & skywarp (or other seekers) is ridiculous. Maybe in deciding how bad they were going to butcher SS's look --they decided "F it. The other jets aren't important. There only pictured and featured with SS all the time..."

Hasbro doesn't hate us. Maybe they pity us for still collecting toys when we're in our 30s but they love our money.

don't get me wrong, i liked LC SS enough to buy one, but as far as G1 -he bears absolutely no resemblance at all!! other than being a jet.

I don't think H hates the fans, except for giving BS or evasive answers at panels

It's not so much 'hating' the fans --if they truly did, they wouldn't do Q&As and panels at conventions, and wouldn't do the weekly online Q&A -- it's the ignoring, passive behavior and ambiguous answers that stink
