I seriously DON'T think that Soundwave will take part in TF2. I mean, if you watched some of the bonus material, you would find out that one of the writers said that they already have put Soundwave in TF1. Frenzy and Blackout were based off of him. But, I'm just saying don't count on seeing Soundwave in TF2, this will never happen. But even if he was in it, he would die. But that's just my prediction...


P.S. Soundwave has a better chance of being in Family Guy than TF2...

Um, I do believe he will be in it. He's only been in it as far as the writers are concerned, but he wasn't in the film, so theres still room.

And of course he'll die. He's a decepticon.

Was this really needed as a thread? Besides you're statement in the " who do you look forward to in the next movie" thread was that Soundwave was already done, changed you're tune?

They wanted them to be Soundwave but f em up, so they changed there names that he can still be in the next one.

Read any interview with the writers, they PROMISED to quote "Do Soundwave correcly if there is a sequel."

Soundwave WAS in Family Guy.

I wonder if Soundwave'll ant creative control over his contract. You know, like nothin' too raunchy, no golden shower scenes or anything, ya know, since finding religion.

Soundwave DID appear in Family guy, so it's kinda a given that an event-that-has-happened is more likely than an event-that-MAY-happen...

Okay. First I think you mean Barricade, not Blackout. Blackout was the helicopter. Just because Barricade and Frenzy were based off him doesn't mean he won't appear. The producers want to put him in. Barricade was a mere substitute. They just opted not to put him in the first one because they could not find a suitable alt mode to replace the popular cassette altmode. They know he is/was one of the most popular characters from TFs of old. I think they have stated Soundwave will be in. They want to do Soundwave right but the first movie's story pretty much shows it wouldn't have worked. I think Spielberg would want Soundwvae to be at a size comparable to Megatron and Starscream.

I seem to remember that Blackout was at some point going to be Soundwave (as well as being Vortex) so he may not be wrong. Blackout did eject a minion (Scorponok) in the a similar manner to Soundwave.
