It's called playing a character. That's what actors are kinda paid to do. I don't find that ironic at all. Manufactured star is also kind of demeaning to him as well. He's a great actor and I've enjoyed every movie I've seen him in. Heath Ledger was a pretty boy, so is it ironic that he played one of the most deranged and psychotic characters in the history of fiction?

I think the point with Chi Chi (if we can give the movie enough credit to make such a point) is that she feels different on the inside even if she looks the same on the outside.

She understands the concept of Ki well enough to help Goku learn the Kamehameha, and she's capable of fighting Mai to a standstill. I really don't think that qualifies as "conformist."

WOOHOOOO! Sequel is green lit! One can but hope. I'm very surprised and delighted that the movie did THAT well at the theaters. I knew it would do well overseas...Japan is gaagaa over ANYTHING Dragonball related. I had hoped a sequel would be in the works...here's to bringing in Krillin, Vegeta, and Raditz!

Well I planned to see it today before I went to work. I checked the showtimes online and saw that it was playing at 3:15, when I got there it wasn't showing until 6:25! So there's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
