Oh, I'm not saying that there aren't any crap American cars. It's just that he's trying to act like his opinions on ALL American automobiles are fact. That attitude always gets to me, regardless of what the topic is. If he wanted to say that he THINKS they are all crap, that's fine. Whatever. But, like I said, he's trying to say it like it's a fact & not an opinion.

You say Pinto, I say Yugo.

What Cyclonus is saying is especially true considerring that some of the examples Sonray has given haven't been in production for over 20 years.

Sonray, your argument is an "us against them" argument, and that just doesn't hold any water. There are American cars built better than many European and Japanese cars, there are European cars built better than many American and Japanese cars, and there are Japanese cars built better than many European and Amarican cars. On top of that, especially today, most European, Japanese and American companies have formerd parnerships or are owned outright by the same parent companies. Therefore, their level of quality is roughly equal. It then all comes down to personal preference, and that is neither right or wrong. I prefer American made vehicles, particularly Ford trucks. That is what I choose to drive. I belive they make the best trucks. My grandfather worked for GM, and that is all he would own—GM cars. Call it company loyalty.

You cannot pass your opinion off as absolute fact, especially making such broad, overreaching statements.

That SSR looks too new to be Kup to me. The colour's a good match, though.

Not all American cars handle badly. Some handle better than some European models. It's like most things: there's the good and there's the bad.

I've never known anyone to complain of a Trans-Am handling badly, though. I like the way muscle cars look, too. I prefer them over most cars apart from the Riviera boattail and cars that predate the nineteen-forties.

Uh... guys. Those concept trucks are too futuristic for Kupp. Remember this is year 2007. Not year 7002. :?

Is it possible to convert this into a pickup?

Sort of like the old Kupp thing.

I mean, just like the old G1 Kupp, a futuristic pickup.

The front of your vehicle looks great. The rear half modified into a pickup bed will fit Kupp nicely.

And this is from the best car show in the world, so go figure.

I thought you were from the Jeremy Clarkson school of thought. The way you were talking about cars reminded me exactly of him.

It's car made by Chevy which had a pick-up bed for a back end. Here's a pic of a 1965 El Camino:

Finally, a pickup!

Not bad for an old-timer.
