Transformers Hoarder wrote:I managed to collect the entire Binaltech series with the exception of BT-17 Black Convoy. BT-17 from what I understand is very rare. I've heard less than 1000 units were available? It saddens me to know I will never complete this collection due to his price tag. Then I got to thinking how difficult it was for me to obtain my Binaltech collection and what came to mind was that maybe only a handfull could ever accomplish this. I mean how many of those 1000 BT-17 owners has every other Binaltech in there collection. I would like to be among those handfull of collectors that do. If anyone has a BT-17 Black Convoy I'm interested in it. Even in displayed condition. I guess in the end I could always spring for the plastic Alternators version but only if all else fails.

Do you also have the eHobby Rijie? A Binaltech in name only, as he has no metal, but still

I do, along with Kiss Players and Alternators versions of this Mold.

According to my lists, no more than 300 BT Black Convoys were produced, but I could be off.
WolfDawg wrote:Last I checked, BT Black Convoy was going for anywhere between 800 and 1000 bucks. That being said, good luck to you, bro. Honestly, I think I"d just get the Alternators version and call it a day. Not only does the Alternators version look better because it has the (IMO) signature Nemesis Prime red windows, you also don't have to worry about paint chipping and it's a fraction of the cost. However, that's just my opinion and I certainly won't knock you for hunting down the BT version.
Vegitron wrote:T.H., I'm in the same boat as you. Got all the Binaltechs including Kiss and Asterisk, and all MISB. Well all except BT-17. I have the Alternators version, but it's just not the same. Now wouldn't it be great of TT would just reissue BT-17? I know, just dreaming.
