For me, it's more like favourite songs. I honestly can't pick just one.
Mudvayne - Nothing to Gein
Mudvayne - Pharmaecopia
Tool - Aenema
Tool - Lateralus
Parkway Drive - Idols and Anchors
Metallica - Fuel
NIN - Just Like You Imagined
Pantera - Floods
Pantera - By Demons Be Driven
Cradle of Filth - Nymphetamine Fix
These are the songs I'm most likely listening to.
Really? Don't get me wrong, "Left Behind's" a good song, but I prefer "The Shape", "Skin Ticket" and "New Abortion".

Those are all great songs too, then again the only Slipknot song I don't really care for is the Corey Taylor version of Tattered & Torn. That's the one song that Anders actually did better than Corey. It was hard to choose a real favorite, it was up between "I Am Hated" and "Left Behind". I was watching Disasterpiece and that song came on, so it kind of nudged forward a bit.

Don Henley - Boys of Summer. I don't listen to it very often because I've got memories attached to it that fill me with self-rage and make me feel like crying. So every time I hear it, I feel like punching something. That doesn't stop it from being my fave tune, though - music doesn't have to make you feel happy.
Very strange-whenever I hear that song it reminds me of not-so-great times as well. However, it is difficult for me NOT to listen to it. Weird.
Anyway, it is hard to pick ONE favorite song of all time. I will just throw a few out there. I think it is actually quite impossible for me to pick just one......or even just one Album.
Angeles-Elliot Smith
Just What I Needed-The Cars
Medicine-Orbit
Doolittle, Surfer Rosa, Trompe Le Monde(the whole albums)-Pixies
Asshole-Beck
She's A Sensation-Ramones And just about anything through Road to Ruin
Darklands-The Jesus And Mary Chain
Poncho and Lefty-Performed live by Willie Nelson with guest Bob Dylan
You're Gonna Miss Me-13th Floor Elevators
Gimme Danger-The Stooges
.......the list just goes on and on......

Your list is seriously too good! The fact that you included Baker Street is just awesome. Then Funk #49. All I can say is that you have a lot of style and class. I love every song on your list.

Some prog rock. There's got to be some you here who listens to this stuff.
This is Genesis before Phil Collins took over and turned the band into pop-rock. And by the way, he was the drummer for the band. An awesome drummer.

Re: Favorite song
My girly music will feel out of place here... but...
The songs on my iTunes with the highest play count right now are
Tell Me Why by Taylor Swift
Crash and Burn by Savage Garden
Invincible by Pat Benatar
and Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson.
Pat Benatar is probably my absolute favorite, though.

Sometimes I think my favorite song ever is "Welcome To The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance.
My current favorite song to listen to is "Kings and Queens" by 30 Seconds to Mars.
How did I get so Emo with my musical taste?

I do like some Thin Lizzy. They are just an all-time great band no matter what generation or time. Everlong is a fantastic song. David Bowie is unbelieveable in just about any regard.
In the Meantime is a song that reminds me of this girl I went out with back then. Green eyes and jet-black hair will be something I will never forget. Ever.
