Hmm, this one is a toughy as I love just about anything envolving Transformers. When it comes to the movie figures it's a toss up between Barricade and Ironhide... I haven't had a chance to see what all the other toys are like though as I only have Black Out, Brawl and Bumblebee in addition to the two I already mentioned. I'm getting Jaze and Arcee when I find her, maybe leader Prime.

Classics: I don't have many Classics but I have to say Ramjet with Starscream as close second.

Other: I have to say the G1 Stunticons wit hthe exception of Motormaster, but the other four I just love.

Your right, and it does make sense that they would be batteries. I wasn't much for the instructions when I was younger. I didn't notice those two parts on the bottom of Prime's Trailer that swing out until after I had him for awhile.

Eh, that just makes Soundwave that much cooler. He was my first Transformer ever and the fact he came with a tape was excellent.

Holy Crap...I never thought of his weapons being batteries...

Dude, for real? - they are the same size and shape as AA batteries and they store in the Walkmans battery compartment.

Still, I did see Dr.Strangelove twice before a realised Peter Sellers plays three main characters :-?

Forget nostalgia. Who can argue with the art that is MP Prime?

predacons and dinobots because you can make a great battle scene using those figures.

It's too close to call! G1 Megatron and Shockwave! However, as I only ever owned Shackwave and not the 'real deal'...

Meg's got to destroy all the Joes, Jedis, Daleks, Cybermen and was, ultimately, only stopped by Acroyear (in a move echoing the demise of Baron Karza in Marvel's Future Tense).

My mom has mine/ours of those some where at home. I'll have to ask her if she's got any for me to put out with my collection. Those were the coolest!

I only own one movie figure (Arcee) so I can't really comment on that line yet. Here goes for the others:

G1 - Skywarp. Black jet goodness!

Classics - Jetfire. Tons of fun with accessories and articulation.

Binaltech/Alternators - Mirage. Hands down best car model and color scheme. Also has a transformation that doesn't make me want to cry.

MP - MP01 Prime. My cartoon hero incarnate. There is no better robot-mode Optimus Prime in existence.

Honorable Mention - RiD Ultra Magnus. His robot mode is kinda goofy, but at least he isn't a Prime repaint. And the bad ass car carrier mode is fun.

Actually, the articulation is what killed Jetfire for me. The legs were terrible. I would have loved him otherwise.

overall He's just the best ever!!!

To lanzajr26 who said G1 Skywarp - Amen! I had two of him. Still gotta bug my mom about the TF's at their house; I forget every time I talk to her...

I've only had him around 11 hours, but I really like Movie Wreckage. He's not all gangly and loose like some of the other Movie deluxes I have (08BB being the worst offender among what I have).

I strongly enjoy Voyager Ratchet and Leader Prime, too.

But the favorite of what I have is probably Classics Jetfire. He's pretty awesome. He kinda has a hard time with Macross Valkyrie walker jet mode, which is ironic to me since the G1 version was a licensed Valkyrie.
