Frank Welker will always hold a special place in my heart as the voice of the Megatron of my youth...He had a very versitile voice, and used it well!

David Kaye is the voice of the Megatron of my adulthood, and has his own place in my heart as well...He had some serious shoes to fill to do Megatron in my eyes, and filled them he did, and well too!

Even though I am not into Optimus Prime, there is no other voice for him than Peter Cullen, although Gary Chalk was alright, he just didn't do it for me as Prime.

Love Welkers voices, but mostly Rumble and Frenzy. Oh and whoever voiced Seaspray, his was fun to hear.

Megatrons voice was my favorite in that series, followed by Starscreams. I wish I knew who did the voices, because they are not listed on my dvd.

I also wish I had seen the G1 because I have only heard good things about Cullen and welker.

Watching season 3 episodes the other day reminds me that I forgot to also mention how awesome Marissa Faireborn's accent is.

Acquiring the boxed set of G1 episodes is on my Christmas wish list.

So, you watch them in groups of episodes! Way to go! so do I.

That sounds like a very good plan! The prices I see on eBay for the various sets aren't bad, considering.

My friend and I have been watching them together in IRC for several months now, in sets of 2-4 episodes at a time. We tend to make fun of them MST3K style, though I enjoy almost all of them. :D Soon we're going to be moving on to watching Beast Wars.

I remember watching beast wars a long time ago. They were ok. Now that I know the background of the characters I think I would enjoy the series more.

I would love to meet some of the voice actors just to see them perform the voice personalities. I have a few things that I would love to hear them say. I am still learning who is who.
