Car Robots, Super Link, and Galaxy Force had some pretty catchy J-pop openings and closings. I'm not too fond of the later modifications to the original "Robots in Disguise" theme (the song, not the series). It was good in seasons 1 and 2, but after that, it started getting old :-(

Season 1 G1 opening and closing theme songs.

The theme song of Fight! Super Robot Lifeform Transformers, apparently and appropriately titled "Transform", has grown on me. A nice 80s J-pop song.

The Headmasters theme is a great punchy song. Head on!

The TFA theme song is great too, a poppy update to the classic G1 theme.

Between RID and Armada. Animated wasn't bad but Cybertron was awful. What was with the evangelist type voice over?

In terms of background music, nothing beats the jingles of G1. One thing Beast Wars failed in was music. Thankfully it didn't spoil the series.

For some reason "New Divide" stuck with me much more than "What I've Done" I don't count the 86 movie, because I like everything from the soundtrack of that one. Everything.
