I don't get Railracer honestly. He's neat and all, but not that great, but that's just my opinion so, it means very little.
Lamest combiner? Defensor. Giant robot war machine that serves as protection? Bah. Weak. Giant robots comprised of giant robots should be twice as bad assed as said intitial giant robots, not wimps. Also, Superion. Awful toy.

Well that depends on how you look at it.
Spectro, Spyglass, and Viewfinder could be considered 3 individual but combining characters or Reflector could be seen as a single character with 3 bodies.
The 3 robots were never individually named in the cartoon and were portrayed as a single character.
I don't know about the comic version but I guess it's possible that the trio were actully seperate characters.

It really depends on "which" comics were talking about.
I dont believe that the original Marvel G1 really went into it but Dreamwaves and IDW's G1 comics have used Reflector in their stories.
Dreamwaves had the very clearly as 3 separate characters as does IDW's.
As does the toyline giving them each names.

I'm just saying that if you think of them as a single character then he really isn't a combiner. If anything he's a seperator. (yes I just made that up.) It just depends on which G1 continuity you're refering to.
