Filetype help

Okay, so there's this torrent I'm trying to download. The filetype for the videos is ".mkv". And I'm not sure I can run it.

I currently have Haali Media Splitter and Codec Pack All-in-1. Would I be able to run it with this? If not, what can I use to run it?

If it's against the rules to post it here, then could someone PM it to me?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Haali lists itself as "Matroska Splitter." I assume this would eb right for the filetype? I need confirmation, though.
