Just saw it yesterday at the theater when we went to see Fast and the Furious 5. Totally was not expecting DOTM to be one of the previews!

Looks absolutely epic! Non-stop action, a plethora of bots, Optimus calling out the US government for LYING! Shockwave!

July cannot come fast enough.

Sorry I haven't posted for a while, I was on a trip at the Marine Corps base of Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, with my NJROTC unit. Anyway, back on subject.....

Finally, the first time we see Shockwave move! :APPLAUSE:

Too bad he had no speaking lines. :-(

That would have topped the awesome-cake. Anyone know who's doing his voice? :???:

HOLY CRAP!!!! That was awesome! The ark crashed on the moon and then Optimus got mad at some government lady and then Crankcase climbed out from underneath the moon's surface and then there were a bunch of robots in DC and then Sam was all like "WHERE IS SHE?!?!?!?" and then Shockwave fired up his gun and then BB transformed and did a flip and caught Sam and Carly and then Simmons was talking and then Optimus came flying down and kicked the @!*$ out of a bunch of Cons and then that huge tentacle thing CUT A SKYSCRAPER IN HALF!!!!! And to top it all off the music was absolutely perfect! My only complaint: we never saw Sentinel.

I dont know about everyone, just sayin i dont know if yall notice......but did yall notice the einstein lookin transformer at 0:44 sec.....im just wondering if anyone noticed him

You are quite right that there was something wrong about that crash. There was an astounding amount of movement throughout that ship and a heck of a lot of debris kicked up for landing on something devoid of gravity and atmosphere.
It was an excellent rendering job...for an Earth-based crash landed. However it was a crappy portrayal of a failed moon landing. #-o

Aside from that, which now bugs me EVERY time I see it, this trailer just keeps getting better and better. I know everyone keeps equating that tentacle beast with a Kracken but I'm more inclined to view it as analogous to a virus. It appears to continuously grow as it consumes stuff much the same way a virus infecting a host body would. Looking at it in that perspective makes the situation seem even more hopeless for our heroes but also makes it seem more plausible that such a thing would be hiding within our moon since it really wouldn't have to be all that large to start out with. It appears to start out not much larger than say The Astrodome when it first wakes up but has obviously grown well beyond that by the time Chicago is half leveled. Just a thought anyways.

Heh I just read the woman talking to Sam in the trailer supposed be Marissa Faireborn. I guess they're really trying name drop as much as they can. First Carly Miller, now her.

Thanks. like I said, I haven't been keeping up on "rumors" so I don't know much about it- like who's in it. (It looked like a dragon from the back, not a bird :oops:

The trailer was good. I'm trying real hard to be excited for this movie, but ROTF left such a horrible taste in my mouth. And there are a couple things even in this trailer that bug me; Any scene with that hideous Rosie Whats-Her-Name annoys me to no end, look everybody, DULL SURPRISE! The scenes with Sam and her, and the scenes where it seems like he's looking for her makes me think the writers are gonna try and ramjam another horrible human love story in this one, UGH :BANG_HEAD:

And as with ROTF's trailer, which was really badass, hopefully we didn't just see the best scenes in the movie.

Hopefully it's good, on par with the first film, maybe a little bit more story and character development for the titular characters(this is called Transformers after all) and a backing off a bit of the human story. Good trailer though.

I've decided to reserve judgement on Rosie/Carly until the film releases and I actually see it. Proclaiming doom and gloom based on nothing isn't good for anyone. Just look at the 2012 prophecies? Ruined the History channel and nothing will come of it (though we did get a pretty good movie in the end).

I am cautiously optimistic that this will be an improvement over BOTH of the first two movies. ROTF is not a high hurdle to overcome, but the first movie was decent enough that after seeing ROTF degenerate into a pile of rusted scrap metal, it's hard to imagine Bay's team doing better than the first. This trailer looks far better than the ROTF trailers did, though. Of course I'm still not a fan of giant snake bots and stuff, but I am curious what the hell that thing is supposed to be in the Transformers-verse.

What I don't get, though, is with how dark and foreboding the movie looks, why did all the toys come out looking like clowns???

Bay himself has admitted to disliking ROTF and I'm glad he's willing to man up to his faults. So far this movie looks to blow it out of the water. The action is going to be great and I think the story is more coherent so far from what we know.

Oh by the way, I was at the airport in Omaha today looking at the NetJets fleet, and they had a Rosenbauer Panther fire truck parked outside the hangar in Ratchet-like deco. Looked similar to this one. Anyway, made me think of the new movie, and made me glad they picked a different color scheme for Sentinel Prime.

Correction: he said he could have done better. There's a difference between "could have done better" and "didn't like" you know.

Man, i went to go see Fast Five last night. Great movie, but for my showing, they did not show the DOTM trailer. :evil:

Needless to say i was pissed! :BANG_HEAD:

Got over it within the first 5 minutes of the movie starting, but still disapointed.
Curious if anyone else who went to see F5 got shafted.

For the record, I never said I thought he was Jolt, I just don't believe he is Wheeljack. I have a fear they're gonna try to call him Kup :-(

No, someone else said he was Jolt because he was blue. Although a lot fo people are saying he's Jolt because of the blue color.
Still saying he's Wheeljack...Kup is out of the picture. Kup and Einstein have nothing in common.

Shockwave and the Dreads were hidden there. Who made it there first? We'll find out in the film.

Check out the pic. If you notice there is something floating and pointing what looks like an arm gun on the right hand and its glowing red for like 2 point something seconds. I was just trying to get conformatoin on that either being Megs or Shockwave. srsly go back and look at the pic I r provided. Thats wht I circled that "who" in the pic. :lol:
