G1 Deco Voyager Starscream or Movie deco SS?
Hi.
I just wanted to gather some opinions as to which of the two Voyager Starscream is better. Does the G1-Deco's paint chip off easily or anything? How's the playability and articulation? I intend to buy one of them but I cant pick which one to buy.

personally, i like the head and paint job of the g1 version, however, from plenty ive seen some of the paint are already chipped; just look through the box and see the fig to make sure it isnt messed up if you do buy it. but the movie version, i dislike the head sculpt. and for the movie version, i do like paint the job, but not as much as the g1 version, however the paint application on this is better as it does not come chipped, as from what ive seen. but really, theyre both the same figure, just different colors, so whoever you choose to buy, you pretty much bought both of them, in a way.

The G1 redeco looks like he got hit in the forehead with a baseball bat that left a dent. The head on the movie original deco looks like a chicken. They're both train wrecks for different reasons...for that reason alone, I say G1 redeco Thundercracker because the colors are more r0x0rz.

Hey I don't hate the figures, I just think there are plenty better figures than him. You guys offered your opinion, aren't I allowed to offer mine???
If it were my money & I had to chose I really would pick neither. I'd save my money & get something that looks better later. Thats my opinion. Just because it's negative of the figures doesn't mean I can't say anything.

I got ya. Now everyone's all up in arms about getting their opinions stepped on so we're all defensive. I like all three of the movie F-22s, and I hope they put out a Skywarp too. 'S cool man, I'm not casting disparaging remarks 'gainst they that don't like the figure, just agreeing with someone who does like it.

I personally love and own them both. Own them both! I would pick up G1 Starscream first.

There's a thread that I've totally lost that shows some alternate transformations for the movie-mold Seekers, and there's one that involves folding the wings from side to side but not putting them around the back and a slightly different transformation for the legs. It actually makes the bot mode look really cool. My Starscream (movie-colored) isn't the ugliest transformer I have anymore, I can give that prize back to Classic Deluxe Prime.

I think that the Starscream mold is excellent, you can't you wrong with either.
I told the fire to go **** itself, and it did.

While I do harbor a mild dislike for the Movie SS mold, I have planned to buy him for a while now, just because it's Starscream. Can't help, I will always love Starscream. Anyways, I believe I will end up buying the G1 redeco version instead of the standard movie version, because it will be recognizably Starscream on my display shelf.
