AEC Cybertron was rather large though. In Energon Earth sized planets where pretty small compared to it. When Unicron transformed he seemed a fair size compared to Cybertron.

A transforming Unicron like those we know is ridiculous. Why would he become a giant humanoid when he is always floating in space? He doesn't need big legs. He needs arms but not that big. The only time he can stand is when he's on a planet that he's about to eat. All in all, ludicrous.
