Dragon's Crown:
To be honest, I hate the character designs in this. Out of the main characters, only the Elf and Wizard are decent, the Knight, Dwarf, and Amazon are all Rob Liefeld's wet dreams. Even the Sorceress off puts me; it should be sexy, but boobs do not work that way. I know I'm an idiot for expecting realistic anatomy in a video game, but this is just a few steps too far.

That said, the rest of the visuals are gorgeous and the game itself is a great throwback to Capcom's old D&D beat-em-ups.

Just used the Runestone to have a game of Rock-em Sock-em Golems. Now I think I have to stop a demonic invasion but what else is new?

No I understand it just fine. I just wasn't expecting half a fraction of that heavy **** to go down the way it did. The ending was surprising, and really good. I haven't played a good fulfilling game in a while with an ending worth reaching. Then along came Bioshock Infinite.
So. Burial at Sea. Is it worth it?

Dragon's Crown:
Well, turned out when the king said he was going to go run some errands, he was going to run errands with people who were going to sacrifice him to ressurect an ancient dragon. Everyone pieced this one together a bit too late to even try to stop them. So now I'm collected stones to something something kill everyone forever.

LA Noire:
Cleared traffic, just started Homicide. Still waiting on that tow truck to come along and pull this game out of the uncanny valley, but it's fun otherwise.

Max Payne 3:
Shooting up punks in Sao Paolo slums because shooting punks is all Max Payne knows how to do anymore. Also he shaved his head because yolo.

Dragon's Crown:
Three talismans to go before I can fight the Ancient Dragon. Also I started a new character, and learned that money, items, and NPC Allies are kept on new characters. So I've got a cadre of level 30+ NPCs watching my back.

MGSV-Ground Zeroes.

Worth the price of admission. Its short, I beat in just under 2 hours,but its filled to the brim with content and you wont play through the same way twice. There are dozens of ways to get the job done, and extra ops and optional things to do as well.

My only real complaints are the two biggest things I found hardest to get used to. The controls, and Kiefer Sutherland. It all gets more tolerable the more you play though.

Hideo Kojima says that Phantom Pain will be 200 times larger, and that Ground Zeroes was simply a taste.

And what a taste it was. Now I literally can't wait for Phantom Pain. Cipher's gonna get what he deserves.

Skyrim

I've been doing a lot so I'm going to break it down in missions for what story.

I'm currently level 24.

Main Story

I beat the main story up to where I killed Alduin. I haven't done anything about the civil war yet except that truce that had to be done just so I can continue with the dragon based missions. Will I be able to fight dragons still now that Parthuunax is changing their ways?

Thieves Guild

I still have to find translations for that book that Karliah gave me.

Dragonborn

I killed Miraak and I also have all 3 words of dragon aspect. It's awesome. I also have 3 black books right now.

Companions

I didn't do much after I turned into a werewolf. I just did 1 mission where I killed the silver hand leader and that was all. But I have been doing a lot of killing as the wolf and got a lot of perks because of the Dawnguard DLC

I've only met the leader but I'm about to do another mission as soon as I get all of the werewolf perks.


I'm also building a house and have been doing a few side quests too. I'm trying to do everything in this game in 1 playthrough. I also logged in over 70 hours in the game too. This is the longest I've had to play anything in 1 playthrough

So i'll tell you what. You count all my posts that have word Minecraft in them by the end of the year, and tell me if I have a problem...
Im in creative mode, prepping an arena style survival game. The enchantments are off the walls with the new anvil. Its gonna be a bloodbath!

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes:
Well that was two hours of game (Counting cutscenes, too!) that I spent $20 on. I knew it wasn't going to be long, but Jesus, I wasn't expecting to beat it in a single sitting.

Also, I like how that massively disturbing...surgery was rendered completely pointless two minutes later. They spend a little too long graphically extracting the bomb from an awake and screaming Paz, but two minutes later, we find out that Skullface had another one jammed up her crotch. What was the point of that? It's disturbing simply for the sake of being disturbing. And that's not even getting into the tapes. I can't even describe them on a PG-13 site.

Christ, I actually regret spending $20 on this. People warned me that it wasn't worth it. I really should have listened. I'm going to be spending a lot of time with Raiden and Bladewolf tomorrow, getting this mess out of my brain.

I agree having beaten it so many times. I still think it has has tons of replayability, but not enough to keep me from deleting it...

But ive been playing MGR lately. I put it down for a while. I found out something AWESOME about Sam.and if your going to play again I recommend giving it a try. If you charge your blade with triangle while in blade mode, you can do a blade mode dash, and it's freaking devastating. It adds a bit to Sam's playstyle, and it's entirely situational, but it lets you aim a charged attack with blade mode precision. If timed right, you can even screw over Armstrong with it.

Heh, Armstrong. Arms. I get it.

Borderlands 2:
Let's see, fun new dialogue for the player characters? Check.

Fantastic new dialogue for the old vault hunters? Check.

Tearing down memory lane at break-neck speeds? Check.

Glorious new level design? Check.

Beat Son of Crawmerax. And boy was it good.

Son of Crawmerax WAS AWESOME up until the actual Crawmerax part. Even as a raid boss, he's a bit disappointing. There are only like 2 purple spots and they're just crit spots, you can unload on him the same as terramorphous. I liked it, but he's got nothing on the original Crawmerax, not when it comes down to difficulty or reward.

Also I got the platinum trophy in minecraft on accident. How do you even do that?

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning:
Oh my God this game is so good! It's big, beautiful, handles great, and there are so many sidequests I keep forgetting to do the first post-tutorial story mission.

Currently running a pretty Dark Elf lady, who also happens to be decked out in Shepard's Armor and wielding Dual Omniblades. Going for a Might/Finesse hybrid.

Kingdoms of Amalur:
Still running around doing odd jobs. I let too many sidequests pile up, and I'm trying to thin that list down. Finished the House of Ballads and Warsworn Factions, though.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines:
I was suffering from a bit of buyers remorse...up until the Malkavian dialogue started. Running a female Malkavian (Named Princess Sparkle Bitch) with a preference for unarmed combat. (Though I do keep a decent amount of melee weapons and guns on me, just in case) Just got to China Town, and survived the raid on Zhao's warehouse.

Sleeping Dogs:
All the best parts of Saints Row II and GTAIV, but with more martial arts and cool Chinese dudes. Just finished up the Zodiac Island DLC, having beaten Shang Tsung because I can't actually remember that guy's name and he reminds me a bit of Shang Tsung.

I beat DmC and i'll say this. It was a good game.
The characters were bad.
The acting was bad,
The story was kinda ok, but between the character flaws it was a bit tough to endure.
The Bosses were great, especially Bob, never seen a fight like that one.
The level design was sick, and the gameplay and enemies were well complimented by it, and the overall gameplay was great.
DmC is a good game for a game. But its a HORRIBLE Devil May Cry. They should have just made original characters fill the holes in that trainwreck of what they thought was good dialogue.

So im building a Castle in minecraft. Its huge and time consuming. I also built an underwater town. I have problems I think.

Also, Shadowman, did I run into you on FOC? I swear I saw you. You were a Destroyer class, I was tank class, you backed around a corner or something and then the match ended? I could be going crazy...

Maybe. I don't recall seeing you, but if you saw a Destroyer named ydwyrd, then yeah, that was me. (Fun fact, Ydwyrd is always me) I've been playing a lot of Destroyer lately. Turns out spamming the living hell out of the Riot Cannon is a great way to make people not alive anymore.

Just beat Firefly. The bosses in this game are pretty boring. Deathstroke had potential, but was severely watered down by quick time events every few seconds. Bane's been the best boss so far, and that's saying alot.
Im not saying the game is bad, it just could be so much better. Well whatever, I haven't beaten it yet.

Dragon Age 2:
BEATEN! It was much shorter than the first one, and the story didn't flow quite as well, largely due to being much more episodic. Whoever wrote Anders needs to be shot in the head for the sudden massive shift in personality. The combat was a bit on the tedious side, and the questing basically boiled down to "Do a bunch of random quests, then one really important quest, then a timeskip...repeat."

...I still had mountains of fun. The characters were all great (Except Anders!) and I really did get The Feels. General consensus is that the second game is inferior to the first, and I agree. It's still fun, though.

I beat Arkham Origins. Best Joker ever? Maybe? Also beat Cold Cold Heart. Was ok, but that tiny map was dumb. Wont even get started on Initiation.

Im playing Demon's Souls right now. **** this game. I love it.

Once I realized my PS1 emulator supported thumbsticks, I found out I could make this happen:

Ape Escape:
Oh my God I'm so happy right now. This is exactly as fun as I remember from my childhood. I'm not as much of a fan of pirating as I used to be, but some on, Sony, put this up on the Playstation Store, I'd have bought it. hell, put up an HD version, I'd buy that twice. I don't care about the sequels, the spin offs, whatever, the original Ape Escape is totally in my Top 5 games.

29% done, part way though the Ice Age, went back to get 100% on the first few maps.

I found the building Sentinel kept the space bridge in and the bridge Optimus killed Megatron and Sentinel on. Therefore, I won the game.
