Of course, nothing can beat Energon in the crap factor, but G1 was horribly animated and full of plot holes, but so were other cartoons of the time. Beast Wars, Beast Machines, and Animated are all cut of a better quality cloth, but Energon and Armada are definatley inferior, so G1 is somewhere in the middle.
"G1 was horribly animated"...????
I'm sorry but I coul;dnt disagree with you more.
Granted the animation had its errors but compared to many other cartoons of the time G1 had some great animation.
Two words: Season Three.
Your last post refered to the series as a whole, and even season 3 , with all its flaws, had comparable animation to other shows of its time.
Point taken. maybe it wasn't HOrRIBLE, but it was flawed.

MINDVVIPE wrote:Generation one is HILARIOUS!! all the lack of quality makes me laugh every 5 seconds, just coz of how bad it is (so i still like watching it). I did like the show after the animated movie though, not all episodes, but some were really cool. The rest of the shows were pretty meh except for some beast wars episodes and pretty much the first 5-6 episodes of Beast machines only. Botanica is the worst transformer character ever... it's like they wanted to appeal to kids who liked captain planet or somthing.
Ah i forgot animated, which has some not bad stories, actually, and just awesome sound effects, but yea, the art style bores me a fair bit, can't really enjoy much of the action... good thing for those sound effects.

I was about to say yes but then you reminded me of Beast Wars and then....Animated.
No where near the best, but definitely likable.
Though my whole family had to laugh at the great "40 ft drive."
It's in the first episode of G1...
Personally I despsie the 86 movie, just really don't like it, only reason I watched it when I was little was because I heard Grimlock was in it.

Quintesson justice.
