But I'd personally rather prefer a Supreme class Trypticon since Metroplex now dwarfs him, while Omega Supreme seems to be Trypticon's new rival.
In most shots of the Ark (not "Arc") and Nemesis next to each other, the Ark is much much bigger than the Nemesis, and Metroplex was closer to the Ark's size.Tronus_Rex wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Charming.![]()

Trypticon was measurably scaled up in size from WfC in FoC when you look at how he was Transformed in to the Nemesis. You can see this by Trypticon to Nemesis & then Nemesis to the Arc and finally the Arc to Metroplex. This is due to continuity errors, (plural). What I've learned from being a fan of anything is that some continuity errors are done to effectively retcon/correct "poor" past decisions, while, others are done just because no one bothered to pay attention.

Not to mention how the folks at High Moon Studios have gone on record several time stating that FOC Metroplex is far far bigger than Trypticon and Omega Supreme.
But Shockwave stayed behind on Cybertron when the Nemesis left.Tronus_Rex wrote:Then another thing that could be done: "Transformers Exiles of Cybertron", (very likely title) could see Shockwave (or a possible Galvatron minion) remove Tryps Spark & core Processor from the Nemesis to give birth to a new up-scaled Trypticon
. Then they can introduce a story about the 'bots bringing Metroplex
to earth either whole or in pieces for reassembly.

And, to be frank, relocating Metroplex to Earth and the Cons building another Trypticon seems like more trouble than it's worth since Metroplex wasn't really needed on Earth and there's already a Trypticon on Earth as the Nemesis.
There's also the notion that, well, the Bots and Cons actually have to get to Earth first since they don't go there immediately after leaving Cybertron.
What does that have to do with him staying behind on Cybertron?Tronus_Rex wrote:Transformer such as Shockwave have come back from much worse, not counting death. Megatron holds the record in Marvel and DW alone he revived 5 or 6 times. Shockwave also came back 3/4 times. Galvatron 2 times. Optimus was in peices when Shockwave 1st overthrew Megatron in Marvel. It has happened in the Beast continuity even more often.
Evidence shows that they didn't, since there is no other Trypticon on Earth in the present day aside from the Nemesis.Tronus_Rex wrote:Trypticon was first built in the cartoon and the comic when the Decepticons had almost no resources. They can do it again.
Didn't say that they "couldn't", just that there's little reason for them to do so.Tronus_Rex wrote:They have moved objects the size of planets before. Building a space bridge on Cybertron or using small ones to move 'Plex in pieces is actually very realistic. Look at what the Soviets did to there factories in WW2, as well as countless other efforts in just the 20th. They have been moving big things in pieces for centuries.
Thing is, the timeline of this continuity was laid out a long time ago, and from the looks of all that we've seen thus far, Trypticon evidently remains stuck in Nemesis mode, no new Trypticon is built, and Metroplex remains where he is on Cybertron.Tronus_Rex wrote:You gotta learn as a writer not to look at something and say that is too "unrealistic"/"unfeasible" and disqualify said idea. Instead take advantage of the challenge to tell a good story. This IS the hallmark of some of THE best writers.
Look at Zato-Ichi, the "Blind Swordsman", he has been called too unbelievable. However, there are examples of people like Ichi even today, on YouTube no less, in history, even warriors, and more. Bruce Lee took the idea so seriously that he tried to make a TV show based on Ichi's model.

This all God damn day. I would be more than happy to pay Titan money for Titan Trypticon. Possibly more willing to do so than for Metroplex and I was already kind of ecstatic for Metroplex. Just think of the possibility of how freaking fantastic that could look.
