gestalts yay or nay?

Postby wmpyr » Fri Jun 01, 2007 5:18 pm

Weapon: Laser Scalpel
2 portions of Monstructor

1 missing on Rail Racer

3 of Aerial Bots

having them in bits and pieces like this is HIGHLY annoying.
they need to make them ALL compatible like LEGOS man...

I should have at least 2 complete gestalts by now...

Maybe you're just not buying the right pieces...

After all, if you got any parts of Bruticus, Superion, Defensor, Piranhacon, Menasor, Abominus, Computron...there's lots of options there to get different pieces and have them make one.

No offense, but what's the draw in having a mix-and-match gestalt anyway? Why would you want a Seacon torso with Computron, Abominus, Menasor, and Superion limbs?? You might as well go with knock-offs for that kind of collecting...

Just do what I did--concentrate on one gestalt at a time, shop around and pick your e-bay battles. Soon enough, you'll have your complete gestalt, and he won't look like some schizo junkyard compilation to boot.

Stop being logical about this, the man is in obvious pain...

Obviously he should buy G1 Leozack, RID Wedge, and Energon Barricade to solve his problems. Maybe even Laster, or Braver! :P

Spoken like a true eBayer.

I guess now is not the best time to reveal last night I bought a MIB and complete Predaking reissue...

For $169.99.

Back on topic.

I feel your pain.

I have all of the MM Gestalts, with the exception of three for Berseker Sixwing. It's driving me mad.

I figure it's like the saying, "a watched pot never boils". So since I'm going on holiday in a week and I won't be back for two weeks, I figured that, hopefully, I will be able to find the missing guys when I get back.

Also, wmpyr, CVS drugstores and Big Lots (here in Tampa FL)have all of the MM Superions, and I have seen most of the MM Railracers. I was missing Tankor to finish RR, and fianly ordered him from KayBee toys online. You may need to do something similar.

But isn't that the logic behind the TFCC gestalt they're slowly releasing? A little from all three Energon gestalts? Personally, I've thought about this before, and it could be cool to build a gestalt from pieces of different gestalts for a fan character or something like that.

Weapon: Laser Scalpel
it only makes sense to make them interchangeable with each other.
even from a sales point of view.
I have most of Railracer, and until I can find that missing
piece he is incomplete. it sux, he is worthless, and I
don't know if it may take me years to find the missing part.
but so much more convinient is if I could use the same part
from Menasor, Devastator or Superion, and for the time being
at least I can gestalt, actually display him!
