It can't be the size of the eye, becuase no one argues that a small visor eyeplate on a figure is better/worse than a large visor eyeplate.....

It's just the principle of the matter I guess. Any thread about who do you want to see in the Classics/Universe line, or MP line, or reissues, and it's always Shockwave Shockwave
Shockwave. Now, with the movie drones, we get a buncha Shockwave heads on other robot bodies and they are the worst heads of all time. Shockwave though, his head is still fine........I just don't get it.

Saw them both for the first time today at Walmart.

I found Thundercracker today at Walmart, they had all the second wave figures. Tomorrow ill pick up the Rescue Ratchet

thundercracker is a lovely figure though. it is a fun mold, but the blaghology colours or the looks at meeez colours of g1 screamer aren't as good as these. is it right for me to think of him as a homage to armada thundercracker as well as g1 cracker? it seems right to me so i am not sure as to why i am asking.

And I have to say, I'm alsways tempted to buy the seekers, but than I turn around the box and see their ugly robot mug, back they go onto the shelf.
Was tempted by Ratchet the same way, although the real life Hummer I recently saw looked pretty ridiculous for a car, far too flat and crablike. What else could I have expected from a car that's called Lobster - Hummer is the German word for Lobster.

I don't think they are shelf warmers any more than the rest, it just takes two months over here to sell enough of each shipment so they order the next one.

Hummer means something else in American Slang, too. Pretty fitting, too, since I think Ratchet not being a Van-style ambulance "sucked"...
