Just wondering on whether you guys like the change or preferred the old visor I personally like the yellow one better because it is marvel comics accurate and the g1 version was also yellow.
And lastly yellow just stands out more than red and is more unique but this is just my opinion feel free to disagree.

Doesn't make a difference to me. Grew up with G1 toy and cartoon. I win either way.

I much prefer red. Don't really see how yellow is more unique, unless you mean that Decepticons usually have red eyes, or something?

I'll be all too happy to buy the Hasbro version. I bet I have enough red on an old Reprolabels sheet to cover the yellow eyes.

I prefer red myself and always have. So much so that I painted the visor on my encore Soundwave red. I was always a fan of the show and want my toys to look as close to that as possible which is one of the reasons I go with Takara for all my MPs.

I'm sure the Hasbro version will be fine, and if you prefer a yellow visor as to be more toy accurate and accurate to the comics etc., then that's obviously the one you should go for.

What I'm still curious about is whether or not Hasbro's going to use different shades of color for the plastics.

I go for show/game accuracy, so it's the red visor for me.

Funny thing is, I was on the verge of repainting WFC Soundwave's visor yellow when I saw that was the color of his visor in the WFC game, but then changed my mind later when they became red in FOC!

I can't disagree on liking the yellow visors. It's not that disturbing. plus I am glad it'll come with all 5 cassettes and (hopefully) be a lot cheaper as well my god!

Just need a way to get my hands on one since I'm from Europe and US always get the good toys and specials.

The cartoon-soundwave has a lot of whites too. I don't see that on the Takara version.
