I would love to go to Japan, but I know TransFormers will not be the only thing I want to go looking for...

If anyone wants any of the stuff, it's on ebay with a day to go. Get it while it's cheap and validate my decision to move to Japan.

Wow Rodimus at $71 already. Is he really that rare or something?

I don't get what you mean when you say Clear Optimus Primal was on display. Does that mean that you went to like a Thrift Store of Toys in Japan to get these?

It is a hobby shop in Fukuoka, Japan called Mandrake. They buy collections and sell off the pieces individually.

Rodimus' original US MSRP was around 70, so that's not too surprising.

The Primal was part of one of those collections. It looks as though somebody displayed the figure, but left the accessories in the box.

PS

That Mandarake is the coolest collectible store I've ever been in. I believe it's 5 stories UNDERGROUND. Maybe there's another location. I happened to come across it while walking around aimless. Congrats on your haul. They had NO G1 stuff when I was there. I think I only picked up a Primal Prime in Beast Machines packaging.

I have been told that Mandarake is a chain of stores. So there are several of them around Japan. Someone told me the Tokyo one has a dozen floors or so.
