Neat, but kind of a letdown after all the hype.

I dunno about Japan, but outside Japan he sure is, as I dont think he saw a Hasbro release. Nice looking toy, but a charecter who no one really knows and there for dont really care about.

So all in all a little bit of a diaspointment.

Deszaras was the Megatron-like character of the series, so yeah, he is important.

I've seen some episodes of Victory, and Deszaras was pretty badass. I wish that series had been brought to the states, because it was pretty good, from the little bit I've seen. Great gallery, Ryan, as always.

Thats it? All that hype for an obscure old japanese only figure from a cartoon most have never seen or heard of? Wow, this is disapointment.

Man, tough crowd. I figured the hardcores would flip for a super-obscure character toy that nobody else would know.

I certainly don't have a clue what series that toy is from, but it's an amazing model!

What's this about Deathsaurus being obscure? He's rare and expensive sure, and Japanese only, but HARDLY what I'd call obscure.

And it's cool I was right about guessing him! And the bird looks awsome. I love how cool some G1's look, even if they can't pose.

I really hope they eventually reissue this guy. Him, and Overlord. I want them more than I want Star Saber and Victory Leo.

Wait........Aren't Dez's eyes red?

*blinks*

Still...a very nice acquisition. I've made a study of Dez, and he was a rather fun char.

Even if his fondness for small children was a bit...disturbing.

Always liked him. Alongside Overlord he was one of the favs that were never released in North America. We really missed out on some many figs that were mainly JPN exclusives with the odd Euro one thrown in.
BWOP: "Die-cast construction...It's a lost art!"

Longs for the days of G1 where we only had to worry about Megatron, Soundwave and Laserbeak wanting to be Autobots, Swoop calling himself Tracks and Slingshot calling himself Slingslot!

Bah, you know how it works here : people would rather see picture gallery #1218973 for Movie Jazz instead of something cool and unique like Deszarus. The most common the toy, the more they enjoy talking about it. By chance, hardcore collectors know their stuff.
